Aleph Zero

In set theory, the letter aleph denotes a sequence of numbers used to represent the cardinality (size) of different infinities. Aleph zero (or aleph naught or aleph null) is the first of these numbers and represents the set of natural numbers (1, 2, 3,...). As the smallest infinity, aleph zero cannot be calculated from the finite of numbers. Instead, belief in its existence requires a leap of faith, as do many other things in the world require.

You are a lifesaver, brother. Doing God’s work out here 🫡
Hello. Has anyone been able to get this fillable stamp to work?
What if we dont have windows explorer?
The script seems to work as I am able to enter the name from the cAsk line of code but for some reason it is not displaying in the textbox. What could the reason be? Are you able to assist?
I can assist you with that for nominal fee, let me know if you are interested. Thanks
@@anujbhagat5930 I got it sorted was under deadline pressure so needed to get it resolved. Will keep you in mind for other scripts
is it possible to make a stamp, with fields where I could enter some words? or as a form - text where I could enter it after setting Stamp. Can I have your email so I can send you a picture of what it would look like
Extremely helpful, thank you! I don't for the life of me understand why Adobe makes custom dynamic stamps so complicated. It seems like a relatively simple and useful tool to add into the main GUI.
Hi! Could you please help to make the stamp transparent? What format picture should I upload to achieve this effect - dynamic and transparent?
Hello! Great and helpful vid!! I do not have the ideal jargon, as I am not a programmer but like to try and learn when in need. I am currently working with a custom dynamic stamp that has 3 fields. The first 2 fields prompt the user to enter text that will show on the stamp (the script for these 2 prompts are currently working fine). The third field is an empty field that requests for a signature. I already tried adding the "Digital Signature" field from the "Prepare Form" menu. It works when the stamp is opened by itself. However, when I stamp the documents, and click on the field the signature process doesn't start. I’ve been told that I have to develop a script for the field (calculated), that when the doc gets stamped, the signature field becomes active (like the sign tab) so that the user clicks on the signature field and the stamp starts the signing process. Currently, I am stamping the docs and then sign the stamp using the "Certificate" tool and then digitally sign by dragging the square where I want the signature. I’ve been on this for a long time researching and trying w/o success. Can you please help me with the script I need or suggest if there's any better/easier way to solve my problem? BTW, I am using Acrobat DC.
Worked! What an absolute genius mad lad! Was so easy

Look up how to make templates, once you have a template customized for you, you can get to making soft quickly
Nice job ;)
Ayooo
bro
Can you share dynamic stamps for other people to use? Would you have to do this whole process over again or is it as simple as sharing the stamp and them putting it in their Stamps folder?
Hi Aleph Zero, since i am totally unexperienced with Java, i guess i have mistakes in the code... could you somehow post it or show how to put the linebreaks in in the right way (i guess thats my problem...) ? all the best c
Thank you. I'm going to try this soon and will let you know how it goes. :)
Thank you so much! Saves my life.
You should add the Javascript code in the description since it is hard to read the script with minute font.
Great video!👍
What if my version of Adobe acrobat doesn't open any other file type than PDF's ??
Hello, if i wish to add the time as well in a seperate field, is there a coding that exists to help?
the first I found that work at the first shot. Rgds. from germany. Hope for more ;-)
Could you teach us how to activate the checkboxes, I haven't been able to do it :( --- Great video btw
Great video. Very informative and helpful for a beginner.
I get taken to a link to purchase "Do more with PDF"S" when I click the Javascript icon.
I have a problem: when the question for the text appears and I enter it and click OK, it does not appear in the text field. It stays empty. What went wrong?
to people having the same issue: i fixed my problem. the cause was using the code that this video typed in but you should use the code that is written in the tutorial (linked in description). there are 2 lines missing. if you don't want the date like alpehzero here, delete this line but don't delete the last two.
Does it work on acrobat standard dc?
Doesn't there exist a simple PDF stamp program for mac to add a sequential numbering to a multi page document where you can manually select the pages on which you need to put a number?
Could not find adobe javascript in the tools option? is this correct or an additional licencing issue?
I was able to run the java script to determine where the file location is, but that folder doesn't appear when I follow the path or search within windows explorer on my computer
is there a way to be able to place the stamp and be able to check the approved or other boxes per stamp?
I got it to work!! It's too bad you can't put the javascript somewhere we can just copy and paste. That would have made it much easier. Somewhere on the internet it would be good to have a listing of javascript for different templates for stamps!! BTW, your instructions were perfect.
Works great! I had to close and reopen adobe for the new stamp to show up but otherwise didn't have any problems. Thanks for a creating this!
This is extremely useful! I'm trying to replicate this with out shelling out to Adobe, and there are some other that are able to create the stamp with Javascript code, but the identification/modification of the template was beyond me. What actually happened there? And can I find out what the current id's are so that I don't have to create new template (since that also forces me to buy DC Pro...)
I have a question Can I create a stamp of signature and can apply to multiple pages in one go? Kindly reply
doesnt work, no java script box pops up after i restart acrobat and put in the stamp...
Very helpful, thank you
Any suggestions for inputting the tallies on the boxes? I coincidentally am working on a submittal stamp with very similair layout.
Excellent tutorial thank you. But what about the check box? How can we get dynamic tick?
Yes...what about the checkboxes?
@@chucksgarage7165 In the PREPARE FORM tool tray, you should be able to select the 'Add Check Boxes' icon and drop them where you need them. Be sure to rename them all different or else they'll all select together.
@@SabellaFoxPirate this doesn't work. the check box will appear but is not dynamic. it will stay on or off the way you save the stamp.
I have created dynamic stamps in an earlier version of Adobe. I was able to add a seal, that being a graphic, as a separate part of the seal A two page document- One was the image, the other was text. Is that not an option in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017?
Great Video. When I use the stamp in a document, Comments appear. I don't want the user to add comments. How do I get rid of this?
This is very good video. Thanks
This is a great tutorial. I was able to create a submittal review stamp for my husband, but I can't seem to find a good video on how to create the select/check boxes for the Approved/Reviewed/Rejected/Revised. Has anyone seen a good tutorial on that? After spending the time to create the stamp this far, I really don't want to pay a company to make the dang thing:)
In the PREPARE FORM tool tray, you should be able to select the 'Add Check Boxes' icon and drop them where you need them. Be sure to rename them all different or else they'll all select together.
Great video. I only want the stamp to show up on the first page of each document. How can that be done without opening all the documents?
The latest version of Acrobat DC only allows you to open pdf's. No options to open up a png
Acrobat Reader DC or Acrobat Pro DC? Pro has dropdown with lots of file types including png.
I have tried this but it keeps using the time and date from when the stamp was created. Any ideas?
My best guess is that you might have an error in your code. Double check what you typed and make sure it exactly matches with what's in the video. Hopefully that fixes the problem!
i am having the same issue. i have the exact code you are using because all i want is the current date (i abandoned the whole time thing). created the stamp yesterday. went to use the stamp today and i'm getting yesterday's date.
James -- not sure if you got any help with this, but I finally figured out what I needed to do to get the date to capture the current date and use it within the text field. I didn't need anything else about my stamp to be dynamic, so my Custom calculation script needed to do the work of only getting the date when the stamp is "laid down" as Aleph says. That logic now looks like this: if(event.source.forReal && (event.source.stampName == "#Stamp1")) { event.value=util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy", new Date()); } Hope that makes sense. It's working fabulously for me now.
Pause the video that shows the date. That line of code needs to moved down between the curly braces { }
Aleph I lear so much from your video, but could you help me how can i make a multiple field, i only see videos that show me how works, but not how make. Thanks in advance
Look up the app.execDialog function in the Adobe javascript reference.
Great video! I managed to replicate the dynamic time stamp (I don't need the name just now). Do you have a video that shows dynamic stamps with text boxes?
worked for me... but i am interested in the one where it showed that you had to choose one of the status options. your submittal stamp is really useful in document review process in addition to digital signatures.
