When we tried to capture it last year, we couldn't get a good clean audio signal out of the Oric, so we did HW video capture combined with emulator audio. Also the aspect ratio was wrong. This capture is entirely from real HW and has the right aspect ratio. Massive thanks to Vampir...

Aspect corrected HQ Oric capture test

This is another test of uploading Oricutron captures to youtube, after ffmpeg processing to improve the quality of the final upload. This time, I've corrected the aspect ratio to give the horizontally stretched look closer to that of a real Oric.

Uploading Oricutron recordings direct to youtube results in really low quality video, so this is a test of uploading a video processed through ffmpeg first.

One of the finest Oric demos ever created, perhaps even the best. The graphics and music stretch the capabilities of the Oric Atmos to their very limits. Had a demo of this caliber existed in the 1980s, the Oric would have certainly achieved far greater recognition. For an 8-bit machine operating at just 1 MHz, with its distinctive graphic standards, these visuals are truly remarkable. Kudos for this exceptional achievement, it deserves high praise and applause!

Actually, the reason it says "Poisson" is because in the demo "Melba by Appendix", it says that "Melba is posion to a human", so it is a joke about the typo in that demo. (The whole first part is a parody of Melba).
