Yes, as long as you don’t touch your catalytic converters you will pass emissions in CA. The video shows just a muffler and resonator delete.

What’s really done to it
At the time of the video it was just a muffler and resonator delete with new tips. Since then i have added catless long tube headers and flowmaster super 10s. I will post an update video soon.

Did you lose any hp? I was told I will lose hp because of straight pipe

Got them from the muffler shop. 4 inch tips.
So we’re not gonna talk about the peice that flew out the exhaust but it sounds great tho

Just delete the mufflers and resonators. Any muffler shop can help you out.
DUDE! I don't know if you're going to respond, but I have the exact same car as you but it's the 3.5 Liter hemi version. Do you know where I can get an exhaust like this? Maybe either the exact one you have or something similar? I love how beefy and loud it sounds, and it looks and sounds really clean. Could you possibly link me a website? And maybe with the prices to buy one of these or one similar?
In my honest opinion the 3.5 isn’t that great unless you are looking for better gas mileage. If you want the V8 sound and power, I’d recommend selling it for a 5.7 Hemi. You can find them for under 10k. There really isn’t a way to make the 3.5 sound like a Hemi…

@@CharlieB310 ah well, it said 3.5 liter hemi on the side in metal though? But it's still a pretty dope car anyways. The gas mileage is pretty good since I'm a commuter driver and have to drive to work every morning, and it's pretty fast when it needs to be.

Get some Long Tube Headers and it will roar. I’m planning on installing a set on mine soon.
BBK makes a pretty nice set for a good price.
What I did was muffler/resonator delete and not too long ago got bigger exhaust tips

Remove the cats
So for straight pipe > do I just tell the Muffler shop. “ I want to take out my Cats or do I just tell him/her , I just want straight pipe?
I wouldn’t recommend removing the cats unless you are installing headers. I only removed the mufflers and resonators, still have the oem cats.
If you want it louder invest in a nice set of long tube headers. It will be very loud and you will gain a bit of power. The OEM manifolds are very restrictive.
@@CharlieB310 I have a 06 300 with the 5.7 currently I have the suitcase muffler delete, but I want it louder I was thinking of getting the rear mufflers deleted as well but im worried about drone noise inside the car. Any thoughts on drone?
@@kingofkingz_3039 there will be a ton of drone around 2k RPM without a set of rear mufflers. i personally dont mind it.
