Yeah they're fast but still not fast enough for the so called (mighty) United States of America to be placed on the world list of fastest trains on earth. Traveling through the night when everyone is home and out of my way, i travel from Lancaster Pennsylvania to Jacksonville Florida, i-95 all the way. It takes me 11.5 to 12.5 hours to complete the trip. It takes 13.5 to 14.5 hours to complete the trip by EV. Boy it sure would be nice to make the 40 minute drive to Philadelphia Pennsylvania, board a bullet train and be in Jacksonville Florida in about 4 to 6 hours at speeds of up to 200 to 225 mph and not so much as a ripple on your martinis. This would be a great 3ird alternative to travel in this far and wide country called the United States of America. Great for those of us who simply don't fly and great as a solution for those who sit stranded at airports due to cancellations and delays during the holidays and travel seasons year after year who are simply traveling to destinations on the east coast. This is technology the United States of America should of had decades ago. Now the far east who are the masters of these technological modern marvels of transportation are developing in maglev super train technology, whic is the next step up in train travel. These are trains that run on magnetic levitation and can reach speeds of up to 375mph. You take a long look at the fastest train in America and then come to know that it's one of the slowest in the world. Highspeed bullet trains and maglev super train technology, the new american dream....
