Imagine a 20 year old Grandpa on the radio doing this😊.
Bill Farmer, Scotty McCreary, Jason Marsden, Peter New, Ashleigh Ball, Rob Paulsen and Charlie Adler need to cover this song together.

Just disovered this new video. Thanks for posting. I just love Mr. Daigle's voice!!!! We use to hear his voice often as he was a D.J. in our town of Bathurst NB
It is now 2023 and I still love to listen to Ted Daigle. God bless him. Regards once more from Bathurst NB.
Love this song! Danced to Joe & Red Rose many times ,the band played at my daughter's wedding . Didn't know Bruce ,he has a great voice. 😊!!😊😊😊😊
This was nice. Loved the Kendalls
Great country music. Brings back many memories of my younger years in the 1970s. When it was announced Roy died in 1998 it was sad. A lot of people said Roy Kendall was a good man.
your channel is full of great hidden gems. i seriously cannot thank you enough for doing what you do. god bless you big man
Thanks for sharing, Jesse was a giant in the mandolin world
Really enjoying this show, a day before the radio airing. Thanks to Johnny Woodlock for the good work.
glad it is working o.k. and that you are enjoying the show uncle ray cheers
I became a fan when I first heard Jeannie's voice on "Heavens just a sin away"... that was 1978 on my drive to start a job at a powerplant in Kansas City....
The song is called “Es war einmal eine Müllerin”. (There once was a miller’s wife) The actual text goes: “Eine Tricot, Tricot, Tricot, Tricot, Taille hat sie an, Stiefel ohne Sohlen und kein Absatz dran. ./. … *yodel* ” This is only the refrain, but obviously the catchiest part of the song.
He did say he didn't know what they said, or what he's saying
Thank you. I've always wondered what this song was called and I could never find it
Such an icon. Her voice will always be epic!
You should put the proper name its Santa clause and popcorn!! Not santa and popcorn!

Hey Grandpa, what's for supper?
Full name: Kuykendall.
Thank you for posting this song; it is fantastic. If you have any of the other songs he wrote, please upload them and let me know. Joe was a wonderful man. I talked to him last summer and he explained the whole process that happened the day they recorded this song. RIP Joe Your songs will live forever.
Thank you very much for uploading this song! Would you by chance have If You Could Read My Mind and Heartaches by the Number from the same album?!
Wow, your Grandpa was a really heavenly gifted Talent! One of those guys like Lost John, probably, one who never really got aware of how great his talent was, just lived from what the blueridge mountains gave him to eat, but when he went to a saloon and played on his banjo I'm sure the horses attached outside started tapping the rythm with their hoofs, didn't they?
Great Singer. I have a Cd which is called The Versatile Bob King. Versatile is the correct description for this Singer. I like it.
What a fabulous and talented gentleman. We miss him already so very much. He accomplished so much in his lifetime and much to our enjoyment.
I love there music
I still have my Kendalls records and I still play them on my old hi-fi. My friends get a kick out of it.🇺🇸🎶👍🏻
My father wrote this song for Bruce golden back in the 80”s .. Rest In Peace dad , they don’t make music like this anymore❤️
Your are 100% correct! Joe was an amazing man! Got to meet him a few times in my childhood! Hope your doing well Justin
I was honored to know Joe. He actually sang this song in my kitchen before Bruce recorded it.
Rhonda is the best. I love her music She has a great personality and a very talented musician.
I have this LP on my shelf. Very good music. I heard Grandpa for the first time in 1965. Old Rattler.
thats my favo-rite song by him, T- for Texas is close , I used to be from there San Anton
Oh I just discovered this video.... I love it Mr. Daigle, Love to you and you family from Bathurst, NB.
It''s rare to combine "Gracious and Kind" with "Superstar". Nobody more deserving of her success and accolades than Rhonda and her band. Such a fine human.
So was your Grandpa's name Jonas ? (j/k)
