This is a great example of how "play by yourself" works. Nice variations that you have put together. Yes, a feast for the ears, including the sound that you have chosen. Best wishes.👌
Hi Richard, you haven't released anything in a while. Your sound settings are a bit new; a bit of reverb goes really well with your track and gives the sound a bit more fullness. Brilliant playing, as I know from you. It had momentum and a pleasantly refreshing BPM. Best wishes from me.👌
Hey Richard, I wish you a happy, healthy New Year. Great atmospheric and dynamic track well played. You've definitely landed at the studio level; what perfect shots.
Good Lord, Richard, this is one of the most enjoyable acoustic blues in E I have ever heard. I was hooked on your opening riff. I have not put my Les Paul down for the past few days. I'm playing along with you in the smoothest of tones. I mean, buttery smooth. Then, I close my eyes and change to the raunchiest distortion. Then back to smooth again. The possibilities of this tune are endless. Thanks for the emotional kick in the pants!
Listening to this after "Jan July Blues" and your excellent renditions of "St. James Infirmary" and "My Creole Belle," I have to say that I am very impressed by your versatility! Really great stuff, and I'm looking forward to hearing more of it. Hope you'll share more videos on the F5 forum, too.
Sounds great, Richard!
Great !

A super sweet sound so glad I ran into it tonight
sounds like Merle Travis!
Well, that's how it works. Beautifully played acoustic part.
Great playing and tone! 🙏🎸
Mr. Richard G, i love your acoustic guitar play. I'm wondering how long have you been playing the guitar, nice work.
Well, off and on, most of my adult life. Mostly electric during my band years.
Okay now I get it, you used to belong to a band, that means you have a wealth of experience you're a genuine musician, thank you.
Doc Richard, I love your Deep River Blues fast beat version 👍🎸🤗
Beautiful rendition,I love it thank you Mr.Richard G.
Very nice groove. I need to figure out how to play it
Best of luck, it’s not that difficult.
What do you have the guitar plugged into?
I’m plugged directly into Focusrite 2i2, then added EQ and Reverb using Ableton Lite DAW.
@@RichardD35 thanks
Love it!!
Great Feel. Really enjoyed your playing and arrangement. Joe

Wow, what a great tune! Is this an original? It reminds me a bit of some of the pieces in Richard Saslow's book.
This Blues in E is loosely based on a piece by Duck Baker but I’ve adapted and added quite a bit from his original version.
