nearly cried lol
What is this salty discharge coming from eyes?
Magnificent 🙌
Gotta be honest, I really expected an Ai voice over, of a crappy script with the *possibility* of some 'highlights'. And, like everyone else, I watched till the end and I'm not crying either!! Awesome edit, very professionally done.
amazing <3
I’m a West Coast fan but I had the pleasure of experiencing the miracle on grass, the three peat now this 2024 great Grand Final WIN. CONGRATS BRISBANE LIONS GREAT YEAR OF FOOTY 🏉
Terrific compilation and excellent musical accompaniment. I now have no choice but to watch this on a loop all weekend.
Awesome work Jessica!👏
Unreal edit, hats off!
In many ways it was a blessing that we finished 5th and played 3 finals in the road, really forced the group to build resilience and belief. I almost think if we had cruised to GF from top 2 like last year we might not have won!
After last year's Grand Final I said that Lions should win this year. I follow Collingwood.
Great video put together well
Nice one Jess, can't get enough of this incredible AFL story. Even sweeter being a Lions supporter. If you love the game you may be interested in following the @AFLColombia story. I am helping build AFL here in Colombia and producing a documentary about the process. Please help us spread the word. Thanks
Can we title this “receipts”?
Given that they played in last years grannie it was hardly a miracle.
Wow. Just Wow. Amazing edit, amazing job
Great vid, thanks for putting that together👍
Like a lot of people I cried when the sirens finally sounded. The commentary of a lot of people too is still ringing in my ear how they said that the Lions need to check their personnel, etc, etc. However deep inside I haven't lost hope. It is that Queensland spirit that seem to be stronger than any distractor that it's not over until it's over. So go you mighty lions. We Believe! A lot of people are still wiping the egg on their faces lol.
Thank you for this video, twice it has popped in my recced and twice I have clicked on it, amazing
Shit I hate football " journalists' they say all kinds of sensationalist bulldust -sometimes outright lies just to get airtime - I could do that and I know bugga all!😂😂😂 the mighty lions stuck it up them! *uck Loyd, Cornes and their ilk! Go the lions!!!!😜💪🦁🦁🦁🦁
This is brilliant 🦁🏆
BT mumbling through the second “a left foot kick from fifty” is probably how my brain was thinking at the game. Amazing edit 🦁❤️💙💛
@@tomullins one of the reasons why I made this video is because so much of the commentary was poor during the finals and didn’t do the boys justice… particularly BT’s final call for the grand final. I’ve included so many other commentary sources bc the boys deserved better but couldn’t resist some of BT’s mumbling to show that we were up against everyone, even the commentators😂🦁
I heard a Paul Roos clip in there. Where is he now days. I thought he gave up AFL completely.
I don't think Paul Roos is included in there but I know he's doing some work for ABC so I might be wrong - if you can give me a time stamp, I'll look at the project and see where the clip/audio is from!
That Paul Roos comment would come from his weekly podcast on ABC. His comment in your clip is about the actions of the senior players being "garbage" or whatever. Great work well done!
@@jessicakiss5066 Yes it’s Roos.
Ive been following Lions since the Bears era, I live on the Gold Coast and my Dad used to drive down from Brisbane to watch them with the other 3000 people. My son was the mascot in the 2001 prelim. final at the Gabba. We thrashed Richmond, he was seven years old at the time. He went down to the GF this year. After they won this year he was crying I was crying and it was one of the happiest moments of my life since the 3 peat era. Never thought it would happen until Chris Fagan arrived and took us on this incredible ride. Gotta love this man. Go Lions in 2025.
So for a while, you were a Blions supporter?
Awesome mate, ive been a fan since the bears days too. I said to my best mate when Fages was appointed in 2016 "this guy is gonna take us to the promised land, i can feel it in my bones" I just had this feeling then, that he was what this club needed. I waited and watched for 21 years for this flag, and i cried at the final siren, one of the best moments of my life. what a team
What an awesome video, watched it again a few times over
This is the best, you're very talented. Thanks for making this!
Well this is absolutely brilliant. Well done. Love it. Thanks
Loved this! In fages we trust.. 🥲
I always told myself this is the year of the Lions🦁. Outside top 4 every finals game the boys played was like playing in a grand final. After they came back from behind to beat Geelong i knew we got the flag. Lions forever❤️💪🏻
Crying again. Thank you so much it's fantastic
I know that Chris Fagan never played at the 'top level' himself, however I believe he was a teacher. Once you understand the ins and outs of teaching you can teach anyone just about anything. Plan/ implement/ review/ plan...
Stop making me cry!
I'm not crying, you're crying
UR CRYING NOT ME
I'm definitely crying
@@nathanbaird6806 Me too.
Was never in doubt love always gotta believe in the boys going back to back for sure!
Literally in tears at work right now
Great edit, thanks
Don't you love listening to the ridiculous comments at the time, and then hearing them now!! GO THE LIONS!!!
The comments were more than validated at the time and leading up to them being spoken. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
@@TheMemeMachineMattNo, they weren’t. Declaring coaches needed to be replaced and that they definitively couldn’t win the flag before the halfway mark of the season is ridiculously premature and lacks measure from so called experts.
LETS GO LIONS❕🦁🏆🏆🏆🏆
This is such an incredible video! Thanks for putting it together so well 😢
Fantastic video. Really well put together. Keep up the great work!
Absolutely Brilliant that's how you win a Grand Final. Many more to come with this side .
Loved the video! Go them mighty Lions!! 🦁🏆
I thought they wouldn't win the championship... but I never thought they couldn't.
I think that sums up the season perfectly.
that was great - will have to go and watch the fully replay of the GF again now...
Best video on UA-cam
7pm tomorrow the quest to go 2 better begins. Let's go Boomers
@@louquay we go again💪🏾
That was perfect
Not gonna lie, I watched this campaign live every game and shed a few tears when they won the bronze. It was a monumental moment for us, our basketball community, and our country.
That shot of Mills and Ingles hugging is iconic.
Time have long passed since this. But as a Duel-Citizen Aussie-American, this was arguably the most emotional moment for me in the Olympics especially with basketball. And with both US and Australia on the podium, this was icing on the cake.
