Arguably half-decent videos about obscure history.
The War Between Finland And Germany
The Lapland War was the final war Finland ever had, after The Winter War and The Continuation War. While these wars before The Lapland War were primarily against The Soviet Union, this time it’s different. This time, it was a war against Germany, which may be confusing given that Germany and Finland were allied previously. In this video I will talk about the things leading up to the war, and the war itself.

Denmark is a rather small country in Europe, known for its vikings. It may surprise you that the country had an empire during the viking age. However, this was not the only ‘empire’ Denmark had. Throughout its history it has had colonies and territories in England, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, India, The Gold Coast and The West Indies. Hope you enjoy! Twitter: ...

why you don't tell the public how many SS, NOT WEHRMACHT, SS troops fight for finland.
Why is that relevant?

Hmmmm, I dunno, but I think Hitler was a tad bit worse
From Poland, the USSR returned its territories that Poland received after the war with the USSR at the height of the Russian Civil War. Poland took part in the partition of Czechoslovakia. Was Poland an ally of Germany? The Baltic states had a choice of Germany or the USSR, in any case they become a battlefield, but Germany had a worse reputation. Even before the Winter War, Finland was establishing relations with Germany. Finland was offered to exchange territories (Karelia in exchange for a small piece of territory near Leningrad) in order to secure Leningrad. Finland refused, which only confirmed the fears. Romania seems to have a similar situation with the Poles. I don’t know for sure about Romania.
I dont know why you need to lie about history. USSR was in relationship with nazis in -39, which included the joint operation against Poland. In Winter war Finland was supported by the allies, while Germany was blocking supplies. Soviet demands included destruction of defensive fortifications on the isthmus. Why, if the aim was just to move the border? Any sensible person realizes that the point was to make invasion easier. And paranoia doesn't make it ok to invade neighboring countries, not in -39 and not in -22.

The germans and Finn's werent really at war, and The germans and Finn's acted to soviet union like they are in war, la ienthe germans CALLED to Finn's when they attack and The germans retreat from The areas to get The as much as Mikkeli they could.
This is not real finland didnt go war with germany
This is definitely real. Not long ago some German explosives were found in Lapland. They boobytrapped everything possible and filled nature with mines.

Stalins win was the worst event in the hisory of europe
The Holocaust was udoubtably worse, what are you on about
@@Globeraphy In Soviet Gulags, more than 30 million people were killed. The virus of Communism spread over the world. In China alone, 50 million were killed. Pol Pot, the Cambodian communist dictator, killed 2 million. The list of atrocities committed by this most devilish system the world has ever experienced is endless
I have no clue where you get your "30 million" from. Around 1.6 million died in the Soviet Gulags. In the Holocaust, 17 million people died (6 million Jews, 4.5 million Soviet civilians, 3.3 million Soviet POWs, 1.8 million Poles and 1.4 million Serbs, disabled people, Romani, Freemasons, Slovenes, Homosexuals, Spanish Republcans and Jehova's witnesses. I am stating all the groups killed because people commonly believe *only* 6 million died in the Holocaust). You state that many people died in China and Cambodia, but I have no clue why it's relevant to this discussion. You said "Stalins win was the worst event in the hisory of europe", so I don't know why we include China and Cambodia when we're talking about Stalin and Europe. If you want to attribute China and Cambodia's deaths to Stalin, as in communism wouldn’t have spread without his victory in Europe, I would call that a silly way of attributing casualties. For example, we don’t attribute the casualties of World War 1 and World War 2 to Gavrilo Princip. We don’t attribute Hitler’s deaths to Mussolini, just because he invented fascism. There’s many degrees of separation between the casualties and the people's involvement.
@@Globeraphy It seems very obvious where your biases lie but we who have lived next to Russia/the USSR for decades know better.

As a Finn, I have to point out that the Soviets killed many of their officers so many of the officers were too new to go to war so that helped out Finland a lot
This just seems like one of those "My dad said we have to break up" kind of things
Us Finns don't really like having to pick a side and rolling with it for the rest of the war.
Kuusamo, Pudasjärvi and Taivalkoski had some pyromanic Germans. Kuusamo had some partisan problems and later Germans turned houses to ash. Grandfather told story about Germans and how they were friendly before Lapland war. His childhood had fear of soviet partisans who murdered civilians, strafing soviet planes and he lost childhood home to pyromans from Germany. There is still trenches and Salpa Line in Kuusamo. Pudasjärvi had first fighting if i believe things that relatives told to me. Germans saved church bells from soviets, something good even they burned church and town of Kuusamo.
