I'm playing skyfactory 4 myself currently, but every guide on building a smeltery involves a controller, which I cannot for the life of me find. That and the drain block. Any help would be great

i am now currently laughing at myself because i was seriously about to get glowstone without ever going to the nether even though i could just by using a cake

how do you set your storage up for this farm im having trouble with that part

I’ve set up filing cabinets to hold the bulk blocks of ores that come from smeltery but cannot get the storage link cable to read the contents of the cabinet. Although I can see that there is iron blocks in there the request terminal cannot find them? Any ideas?

I’m currently building this in my world. I’ve actually got this set up running just need to fully automate it when I complete storage and bonsai farms (which I’m also using your designs). How does alloying work? I understand that as long as the tank is not full and doesn’t back up into the smeltery nothing will alloy, and if that does happen I could have a void bin to delete them. What if I want to actively alloy something? Would it be easier to have a separate smeltery for alloying? Thanks for any help and keep up great content!!

Cyclic pipes cause alot of lag should use integrated dynamics pipes they arent too hard to figure out and can move power, items, and fluids in one pipe and have no lag to use. Also the lava power is a real lag machine suggest using alternate power like the blackhole can be stabilized for a ton of power with the same mod that adds the androids forget the name been a while since i completed skyfactory 4

hey uh, im having an issue with the storage. In the simple storage video, you said to use filing cabinets, but i have an issue- when i set up the coal farm, my diamonds farm started sending the diamonds to my smeltery instead of the filing cabinets. the same thing happened to my clay when i set up my sand farm. do you have any idea why it's doing this?

I prefer thermal dynamics ducts to manage my lag but the items keep getting stuck in the harvesters. I have servos to take the items out and retrievers on my cabinets but the items still aren't moving?

Hey, Im having problems with the input system. I tried to copy what you have but I only get one type of amber in the smeltery. My whole smeltery is filled with just nickel or whatever I put in first in the storage export cable. Also, love your vids, you are making great content!

when I ornigally played this pac,k, found tha death generator produce sooo much energy . and since you can make bonemeal saplins well, it was bonkers power. though played with the points system so had to unlock things. Also avoided using filie cabinet caue veyr laggy and wen th shipipng containers instead

so i built this exactly the same way and my fluid tank in the gen fills with lava but the energy meter never climbs at all

Hey what texture pack do you use?

Is this connected to your smeltery too? Or just for charging batteries? New to sky factory with a friend and thinking of setting this up as our power source, as well as your bonsai and smeltery setup, just unsure if it can also be connected to smeltery / tinkers tank?

As a cancer patient who had an IV into my veins, it does indeed feel weird, especially when it is someone else's blood after a surgery just opened back up. And for when I came out of the surgery that was to take out most of the cancer, I was so disoriented I did wheelies in my wheel chair 🤣

we didnt get essence seed back from this farm (extra seed), but if we farm by hand we get extra essence seeds

Bit late but my PC is surprisingly similar to your build - if you have more than 8gb of RAM allocate some more to Minecraft in the jvm arguments - you'll likely reduce your lag

One mod pack i played recently i have 100+ days in and it took me 100 days to get the transmutaion table and i found many oversights (fyi stoneblock) such as the existance of roost and loot bags or project e with mystical breaks the game in a fun way
