Tirajai - Yùuri (Animated Lyric Video)
#Yùuri which means "Listen",is an extract from Tirajai's #EthnicPop LP #TalesFromTheGrassFields which was released on the 8th of August 2019. This is his own interpretation of some #Folklore stories and traditions passed on to the people of the Grass Fields of Cameroon by their ancestors. In #Yùuri which is written in #Lamnso, his mother language, Tirajai points out some of the societal ills in his homeland with an in depth use of personification and anthropomorphism.He cries out to all the youth of his and future generation that though it might rain on sunny days, we hold the power & the energy to change the narrative.
