I like building stuff, fixing stuff, wrecking stuff, truck & tractor pulling, road trips, camping, gardening, hunting, even shenanigans and some tomfoolery- you name it- you're likely to find it here.
I never know what I might get myself into next - so you never know what you might see on this channel.
I want to encourage you to be active in your community in some significant way. Philanthropy comes in many different forms- I'll try to show you how to get out and do something nice for someone.
Pay it forward
Do random acts of kindness
I'll try my best to keep you entertained and I hope I can teach you some things and learn some things from you all as well.

Will this old Dietz lantern make a cool museum piece- stay tuned.
I scrounged up the money to buy this old Dietz Pioneer Tubular Lantern to display in our local museum. Now I have to get it back on the bracket and ready to display.

Cutting a keyway on the knee mill and turning a bushing on the lathe. Sometimes I forget that not everyone has a machine shop at home. There’s a great demand for small job shops- you’re not going to get rich but it’s good honest work.

It's a Hartford/Argyle thing to do weird project. Always remember safety first 😂. That's a cool lantern. Great video my friend
I found 2 10 inch Chevy hub caps if you want them
Those can definitely raise the anxiety levels! I’d like to see your ideas for the water truck! I may have some pipe to donate?!
That's how my father and grandfather showed me to do the lock ring rims years ago.
Nice video. What do you call the thin black weather stripping on the back tailgate section that hangs down and where did you get it? Thanks.
AS a former gokart racer, I assume you have to use pump gas. Naturally in karts, that was the case but many went to great lengths to dump nitro. Many tracks dumped fuel from all carts into a tank and then fueled them asthey went out on the track. Like I said many went to great lengths to develop systems to "dump" nitro. That being said, what type of tech is used to monitor displacement, stroke, etc.?
use the cut out piece to patch the lower door and then you're set
I was hoping- but it’s not quite big enough
Interesting. UA-cam has been suggesting videos from people with small subscriber counts to me for roughly the last month, and today that was you.
Well thank you for the support

That’s awesome. Nice to meet you Cory- you sound like a fine young man with some work ethic. It will serve you well in life. If you’re ever in upstate NY I’d like to meet you.

And I like your Chanel keep it up, man.
@@user-ph2tm7nx5o that’s awesome. Thank you for serving.
@towntinker no problem. I love this great country too much not to serve, even if we had a lot of stupid problems right now.
Some people like to hear themselves talk...
Thanks for watching
Can’t wait to see it run at the “pull for a cure”.
Wonderful effort Scott and crew.
Thanks
Great job Scott!
Thanks!
You’re awesome! Great job with bringing everyone together and great job with the video.
Thanks. Are you related to the Hoffer Family that’s local to me here in Upstate NY?

I remember an Eagle Scout project in the late 90’s that rebuilt that wooden fence in front of the cemetery. We did some stone rubbings to see the ages on some of the older headstones. Thanks for all the hard work to get it looking good again.
Love it
Thank you for taking the reins in getting these projects started !
Thank you all for doing this project! It was so good to see the work you did.
It was our pleasure
Fantastic organizing, Scott.
Thanks Butch
Great job!
Thanks
What a great job !!
Thanks
Great progress thanks scott!

Thank you!
At 48:28, “did you read the directions?”, lol

Beautiful honor in a beautiful town, nice job, thank you.
Thanks
Great job!
Thanks!
Glad to know there’s other UA-cam folks so close by.
What a wonderful difference...Thanks to everyone who helped out!!!!
Thank you for your generous support! I thought of you when I saw a few Cornell stones.
Good job!! My bell is still there.
Thanks Mom.
Hi what an interesting project you have here. Ill deff keep watching to see how it goes. Id pop over and give you a hand but im in England UK.
Haha- that would be quite a commute. Glad you like it. There will be much more to come
You have been busy my friend. Things are moving along well. I can't wait to see her food truck out and about. How do you find time? I'd like to know that too. Have a wonderful evening
I like to keep moving. Don’t let that “Old Man” in.
@towntinker unfortunately he creeps up on some people too fast. I want to stay a step or two ahead myself
1:54 are those a set of brinly disks?
Haha- good eye
@@towntinker been looking for a set lol. I seem to spot all the hidden treasures 😂
I’ll be over to check on that roof!
Great looking roof. Coming along very well.
My 1976 712 H has a 9 piston hydro unit, modern tractors only 5 or 6. A heavy frame welded together not bolted a great unit for a rebuild.
I honestly think these old tractors could be kept alive almost indefinitely if someone cared to keep them up. Although- my wife X595 Deere sure is smooth quiet and comfortable, so it’s hard to beat them too - even though they will wear out much faster
Where did you get this valve? Everything I look at on line won’t let the levers be mounted that way.
I got it from Surplus Center.
It seems like I had to flip the levers around like that. You can just unbolt the cap and flip it around
I was wondering if I could do that! Thanks.
Ducati, makes a 1.5 liter V-8😊😊😊
Haha- that would make er rip
I think you meant BAD jokes! 🤣🤣🤣
This will be easy...LOL. Famous last words...I have said these too many times myself... Silicone plan is a great choice for "self-levelling". Every step is one step closer to finished! Cheers from Canada

Hey! Happy Birthday!

I know this is an old video, but, I was wondering where you got your seat for it from.... Any info on it would be appreciated.....
The seat came with it, I just reenforced it because it had cracked.
@@towntinker thank you for the info, I've had mine for a while and I've been looking for a seat for it... I kinda wanted a factory seat, but I guess I can get one built, but, thank you for your time to answer me about my question..... appreciate it...
@@michaelgreene2920 the one we had when I was a kid had an upholstered seat made of plywood. This one had a fiberglass shell that was supposed to be upholstered.
Which seal exactly did you use for the bottom of the camper back shell window. I found the century website but they have a lot of different seals to choose from…
The tailgate seal is what I’m referring to

For sure, I will visit when the baking begins!
It looks like most tankless RV water heaters are either gas OR DC, not combo. Most are about $200_250 or so. One combo jumped out by Rogatti but expensive, $500+. Our experience from others is propane responds quicker but you can be running for propane a lot. At camp I just turn on the electric in the morning and leave it on all day. We don't have tankless, yet. My theory is that once it's hot it stays pretty well. It seems a DC water heater would suck your batteries down rather quickly, unless the generator is keeping it up. I'll do some more reading on the tankless at my trunkcamper FB group. They'll have opinions for sure.
Thanks Butch. I meant DC power only to control the temp. The thermostat, fuel valve and electronic ignition.
Looking forward to seeing the food truck finished and buying some baked goods!
Small steps forward are still progress. You've come a long ways already! Best of luck in your new venture! Cheers from Canada!
Thank you
You lost a subscriber yet another channel talk talk talk 🙄
Thanks for stopping in. I hope you find what you’re looking for
That's too funny
Looking great. Can't wait for the Simonize.
Thanks Butch- I can’t wait for that scrubdown video either.
Some folks are going with tankless hot water in campers. I haven't spoken with anyone first hand but my RV guy is trying to sell me one. More $$ I suppose but should save space and weight.
I’m hoping for 12VDC control power. Do they have tankless heaters that are propane 12 Volt?
