    In this visualization of the electrons orbitals, are you as likely to find an electron in the space between the colored dots that represent electrons as the colored dots themselves?

    Finally these orbitals create all the states of matter through various bonds and bonds , ionic, single, double ,triple themselves are magical and mysterious and most interesting would be to understand atomic orbitals of the DNA molecule perhaps there is a secret Quantum code hidden there but it's not easy to decipher atomic code of DNA

    Imagine if you had a couple fusion power plants in an O’Neill cylinder, and magnets on the exterior that are nearly as powerful. Besides producing a ton of power , you have incredible magnetic (And Physical) shielding, that should give you very good protection against flares, and anything stronger than that

    If s1 orbital electron ar in s1 orbital which contains 2 e- then the shape is sphere.......if we go to p2 shape becomes dumbbell from nucleas and there are 6 e- in it then it can be anywhere from the nucleas to the dumbbel shape area and s1 electrons would be there then how do we know its another orbital electron

    The truth about fission reactors is that they are simple...too simple. If you put the right material in a box you get an energy output that could sustain the earth need of energy - it is so simple even a 2 grader could do it, simpler than lighting fire! So why do we need to spend billions on these fusion reactors - that are not cleaner, if you consider that you have to dispose of the radioactive reactor wall! The only thing that will save the planet is to use energy wisely

    What does the l number correspond to?

    • @scipills960
      @scipills960 6 місяців тому

      l is a measure of the so-called angular momentum of the electron. If the electron described a well-defined orbit (it does not) l=0 would represent a circular orbit, and increasing values of l would represent orbits of increasing eccentricity.

    Because its a probability wave function and not a particle. The particle its just one of the function solution in space time.
