i have same but normal not R with 2.4 engine, same colors and new rims it looks so great and never breaks down, it is a bit thirsty but considering its price and maintenance i realy cant complain

My 2007 S60R 6 spd which I got in 2013 for $18k (Oh how the dealership lied about it's condition, was my first online purchase before carvana became big) manual came with failing clutch, because the previous owner had a toyota dealership replace the Slave Cylinder which is part of the controls for the clutch and they did it improperly. It had a host of other issues due to having four owner and being neglected, as well including a lot of rust damage; which can happen to ANY car that is used, always check! I was fortunate enough to be able to deal with it, but Iv'e been to Volvo dealers where they could not properly diagnose my car and something broke that was not broken because they spent 6 months trying to figure it out. (Winter Park Volvo in Florida is guilty of this, and if you live down there I recommend going to one of the three dealerships in Miami despite the long drive. THere is a Volkwagen place that is also a Volvo dealer that I went to in Miami that is pretty good. If yo uare in Atlanta or near it I recommend North Point Volvo. They used to have an R mechanic who owned a 2006 S60R but he left and sinec then they arent' so great anymore with my car but are still pretty good. If you are in Virginia, Bon-Dyer Volvo is pretty good near Dulles Station. Anyway, I've wound ujp having to replace the clutch assembly, the Turbo and charge pipes, the brakes, the Propeller shaft, some pieces that keep the exhaust from scraping the Axle, and my Active Chassis computer freaks out every 4 years and needs a reset but I refuse to replace it since a reset fixes it. I've spent a lot of money on this car but at least to me it's been worth it and in most cases not the car's fault. with now over 160,000 miles on it and it now having fresh parts where other's had neglected it, it's doing really well! I have replaced 3 of the fourt struts, but two of those were due to me being stupid and drifting into a curb (Car was still drivable but alignment was all messed up) and the other was due to a pothole that literally ripped the front bumper under my car while driving at night, AFTER a construction zone ended. (yay South Carolina roads) Anyway, I hpoe you enjoy your car for the foreseeable future and I gotta say that IDP exhaust sounded great! The I5 Is one of the best sounding engines EVER in my book and Volvo and Yamaha did fantastic when developing it.

these cars are such money pits. i still love mine tho. had to replace all the shocks/struts, timing belt, angle gear, pcv system, control arms, tie rods, and do a full brake job.

I bought my 04 S60 Rm for 1500. I did BC racing coilovers, ipd rear toe adjustment arms, and new tires for about 2k. It's been very reliable but it's still a fairly expensive car to own. My paint is trashed and it has a constant CEL for one thing or another but I still love owning it. Cheers from NM!🎉
