Oh man, I'm 63 and I recall hearing the band's name back in the 70's but for some reason I never listened to them. I can't believe I did not discover this band until now. 1:50-2:22 and 3:30-3:52 kick so much ass!
I was there! It was amazing!
How come this is not on spotify?!
That´s my youth - thank You for posting! I have the song over the years always in my head... Pats Soloing is still impressing
Rick Sanford great vocalist Legs Diamond great band, never forget.
Love it
Absolutely fantastic tune!!!! Live is the best!!!! God bless Joe Anthony!!!! Just saying. So says Austin Tx. ❤️😎🍸
Well done Pat ***** what a great guitar solo great player I saw automatic man in London in 1976 --- a mind blower!!!!
Absolutely Smoking! Tell me who sings and has a band like that since?! The live cd is incredible and yes a few backup vocals yet perfection
This is amazing
I was singing lead along with BG Gibson
The Godfather brought me here.
GREAT TUNE I Always LOVED RICKS VOICE, So blessed with the GOLDEN VOICE and VOLUME💗💗💗💗💗💪💪💪
Saw them at the Texas Theater in San Antonio in the late70's bad ass
I'm a big fan of Angel but this version just blows the Angel version right out of the water. Totally different. I bought this album when it first came out. Still have it.
Hardware is BadAss!!!! Great sound!!! Top notch player's!!! What's not to like!!! Rock on Bro's!! 👍🤙✌️
I was 14 when I heard this song, and it's the very first song I leaned on the acoustic guitar. The song is still with me today, unforgettable!!! 🤩💜
Legit band. Too good not to be known by more music fans. Journey & KISS fart sounds took radio exposure time from lots of real putting out real music. Sent money to the wrong people.
🎵Never ending 🎸ROCK🎼! One of the best songs, ever.
Lost my cassette collection serving in Panama in 88-89. Thank you for reminding me..truly.
Co-written by Jean Beauvoir. I’d love to hear Jean Beauvoir sing this. It would be so great.
Anybody know who is on guitar? They keep them in the dark, so I doubt it's DeMartini, Kotzen, Kendall, Norum or any of the other well-known guys who play on the record.
Thomas Larsson & Eric Bojfeldt
ROBIN TROWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice use of B.O.S licks though!
Stone Cold Crazy anyone?
One of the great drummers.
👍
I saw a concert at Black Rock Beach (Point Pleasant Park) with Peppertree in the late 60's.......the organ player was really excellent.
Terry Garrison became my favourite drummer after his Black Rock performance in Halifax. Pepper Tree in one of those bands that should have made it. A fantastic band, legendary with the band's lineup of world-class talent. I remember the gig like it was yesterday. I played the record until the grooves wore out. Well done Terry, Thank you for inspiring me to this day!
Dave LaRue is so great, why isn't he in all the discussions about great bassists? Superb musician. I miss Sloane and the great T Lavitz here, but Morse has balls the size of Pluto to play Twiggs as a trio. He doesn't look concerned in the least, a total virtuoso on his instrument
📣How Did The Time Machine pull this out of my Memory Banks? 🧐Had to Confirm Dates with Ticket Stubs, etc...🤔Yikes, The 👽 Zombie's Are Here?♾️💎🪞👗👠📿💄🌹🌉❤️
This is fantastic for just 3 of them but being familiar with the song I really notice the absence of the violin and keyboard parts, "Dregs of the Earth" was my introduction to Steve Morse and the Dixie Dregs/ Dregs and my musical life forever changed from that point on. As a young guitar player Steve immediately became "the one" for me, that guitar player I always wanted to hear and be inspired by that I didn't know existed. Where I'm not a big fan of his blue grass side every note the man plays resonates with my musical soul and I will be forever grateful to have been on this earth the same time Steve Morse was here!
Steve Morse inspired me to pick up a guitar. Not long after, I put it down😮
If There's only Room for one Then the Phone has Got To flow.. whoa Buddy it's 11:00 am 9/13/2022 Dragon fly dragging me down.. ole magoo you've done it again ~ We Tried, though UFO Stuff however 🎸🍀 🎼🛸 🌋🌗🌋🌓 🎸🎸
Oh man, this is a piece of mucic treasure.
Definitely a sleeper - these guys were da bomb back in the day and legendary in Halifax. You can hear why. They were great musicians and Tim Garagan's lead vocal was icing on this 70's cake. So good.
What's the story behind this album? Co-produced by Doyle Bramhall II ? Same production and snare sound as "Break It All Down" (2000)
That’s rare footage. I would love to see Glenn get the Funk back in asap!
Loved This!!!
EPIC
Tim Garragan lives in Fairview, Halifax, about 2 km from me. Everyone remembers the Peppertree back in our heyday.
In my Junior year of high school, I joined the college Jazz stage band course down the street. There I was recruited by the drummer into his Jazz Fusion group. I told him I had been performing with my own Rock band from 9th grade that I named Medusa. He said, "Dude, there is already a 'Medusa' and they are badass." So after our class I went over to his house and he played the LP for me -- mind blown. Only a few months later, I found lucked out and found a used copy for $2. I still have that LP and I also found a copy of John Lee and Gerry Brown's LP Chaser which was pretty cool too.
Lost in a cloud, I'm thinking out loud, Immersed in this quest for fame. If I see the light and I play what you like, Will you remember my name, ohh remember my name, Ohh remember my name? It's all getting clear with each passing year, There are no rules to this game. If I get through it all and I'm still standing tall, Will you remember my name, ohh remember my name, Ohh remember my name? Success could be at the tips of my fingers, Come as easily as the touch of my pen. If I write a song you could sing to your children. You'll remember my name, will you remember it then? Remember it then, ohh remember it then. You push for a space, you fall on your face. Will my life ever be the same? In keeping up with the pace, I'm falling from grace. Will you remember my name, ohh remember my name, Ohh remember my name? Lost in a cloud, I'm thinking out loud, Immersed in this quest for fame. If I see the light and I play what you like, Will you remember my name, remember, remember, remember, Remember, remember, remember, remember, remember...
This song twiggs approved was named so because twiggs lyndon liked the song. Twiggs worked with the dixie dregs as road crew after having worked with the allman brothers band. A whole nother story!
TRES Cool
Still have my Cassette of this,Sounds great and bitter sweet.
Does anyone know or heard of an album that Thrall did with Jack Bruce in the late 80s? I’m desperately trying to find out more info on this. Please message me if you have any info.
@@joemannix6155 do you know if there are any recordings available out there?
Favorite drummer!
