Why can't Chief Justice Roberts refuse to administer the Oath of Office to 47, citing the 14th Ammendment section 3? Clearly, logic says that any person who took an Oath to Defend the Constitution, then proceeds to Attack the Congress, must not be given the Oath again!

I do not understand how a judgment that is against the constitution that was written to not install a king can stand. If they create a judgment that alters the constitution, that should make those justices unable to serve as they ruled against the constitution they are vested to protect. Essentially, they have gone against their own jobs changing the balance of checks and balances. How do we act to take them off the courts when they go against the organizational structure of this government. This is not acceptable at all.

Dementia, As a Democracy, Americans were tasked with creating a "Perfect Union". As such, there was a right way and a wrong way to deal with problems. This is how I was brought up. Americans have now been instructed that algorithms are what Americans should focus on. What happened, why did America change? The Federalist Society was founded in 1982 and Americans embraced the ideas and opinions of their leaders. Thomas Jefferson warned Americans about the threat of changing essential laws once they've been established. Leonard Leo disregarded Thomas Jefferson's warning when he helped establish the Federalist Society. Was there a rise in the number of Dementia cases after 1982? As an experiment, if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with Dementia, put on some old music, break out an old photo album, and see if that helps with your memories? Try to remember what you can and wonder why things changed. Was the Federalist Society in those memories?

Neal, why was Trump even allowed to run for president? Because he WASN'T qualified according to the constitution, 14th Amendment, Sec 3, Anyone who incites an insurrection against the US or supports those who do, is disqualified from holding ANY public office, including the presidency. Trump is guilty of BOTH, so, he is totally disqualified. He was impeached for inciting an insurrection and he was found guilty by the January 6th Committee. Have we SET ASIDE the constitution for Donald Trump, the most flawed candidate in history? I'll contact Schumer, Pelosi, Biden and Harris because he must be stopped. If he succeeds it will be a total fraud that the Repubs got away with.

“Far more than a blue print. This is an Unequivocal clear holding by the United States SCOTUS that a President is immune from prosecution… every act will be considered an official act. The Court taking power to act… as they wish, “roiled the nation”, it brought to mind” we are writing for the ages”. A determination we lose, via loss of power a in Congress. Poof authoritarianism…starting with Oligarchs plans.

The issue surrounding the trump/Pence meeting, Jan5, has no bearing on the official v private status of trump's command to join the insurrection. Even if trump were acting, in that instance, in an official capacity, he is still violating the Law, the Constitution, by demanding that the President of the Senate should neglect his vote-counting Duty in the Legislative branch, thereby neglecting his Constitutional responsibility.
