Persona 5 Royal Daily September 21
Hello everyone, I'm Peter Moxilin, Keeper Emeritus of the Archives. Join me as we play through Persona 5 Royal! This series has an in-game calendar that persists for the duration of the game, so I had a thought... what if I played the game in real time? As a result, welcome to the Persona 5 Royal Daily! Expect 1 video per day, playing through whatever happens that day in game. Some videos will be multiple hours as I clear a Palace, others won't even be a minute long as the game decides our main character did nothing important that day.
My own experiences with this game is that I both watched a playthrough and then finished the original Persona 5 on my own, and also played it for the channel. Royal I watched up to approximately the end of the first Palace, and play through to the start of the fourth Palace, but have never actually finished or seen the latter changes to the game before (and as such, I'd appreciate if you were careful about spoilers!)
Time to go beat up another corrupt adult. And the game keeps assuring us everything's going to go fine, like all the other times. So we definitely have nothing to worry about!

I'd like to foster a community of people who can have honest discussions with each other and myself, even if we disagree. I've been around the internet long enough to know that's a difficult balance to strike though, so here are some rules that I'd like my audience to follow:
1) It's absolutely possible I'll say something outright wrong. Whenever I say something as fact, please research it and find better sourcing than "some guy I follow on the internet."
2) If you're upset by something I said, or are just having a bad day, step away and cool off. The video/VOD will still be here later. I'm willing to hear out complaints and corrections, but it's a lot easier to agree with you and find a way forward if you have a well reasoned argument, rather than letting your emotions type for you.
3) If you see an inflammatory comment, think before engaging with it. If it's clearly just there to get a reaction, don't interact at all. If it's someone who ignored rule 2, then try to give them the benefit of the doubt and remind them to step away. If you still choose to engage, then all I can ask is that you keep it civil so that I don't have to ban anyone.
4) Make sure to stay hydrated and well rested. Dehydration and poor sleep can seriously effect your mood and how you think.

Fought ort phase 2 with mashu shielder, it will take long game but it will saving you guys from lose battle also losses database 😎 cheers.
Seeing ort walking on fast mode is so scary, jesus christ The break bars retain the hp they had when you lose? And what if you win? You lose the servant anyway?

I'm rather curious if I can do what I do with most problems I come across and just throw Spishtar at the problem to make it go away
Unfortunately, I doubt it. By all means, if you can make it work then give it a shot, but the fight is essentially a tower event as a boss fight in that it's designed to make use utilize your whole roster.
Abusing Mash in this fight really made it significantly easier. I saved majority of my 5-star servants for phase 2 fight but most of them didn't even see use bc Mash + 3-star servant was generally enough to break a bar lol (tho it might be the SBG talking).

I am terrified for getting here in NA. Considering my primary boss strategy is to use SQ to survive, this might be the roadblock that stops me from ever progressing the story forever. Even with my full roster(mostly unleveled), I'll never win.
That’s a really bad strategy considering that we get those cubes that do the same thing and you also have command seals. You really need to level up more servants and form some strategies
This might be the craziest thing I’ve ever heard why would you ever think using sq for continues is a good idea
If you're able to get to this point of the game, then it means you have some good enough servant to fight ort

@@Sanuw7 a phone that could stand on 60fps graphic? since the default setting around 30fps. tbh recent servant and event stage have many effects going on
Since ORT is level 1, it is actually not insane to send your level 1 servants to fight him. They definitely won't die in a single turn. However, they most likely wouldn't break his bar on their own. Obvioisly equip them with a scope.

Hey do you think of doing reaction video to more main stream shows. I really enjoy your voice and comments. But I enjoyed your xcom series more rather than reading these text prompts.
Oh man, this is the kind of thing I think about on a practically daily basis! The bad news is that because of some health stuff and upcoming travel, the Persona-centric schedule is probably going to stay as is for at least another month or so. Fire Emblem may come back, but that depends on Scribbled and I being able to record together. Once I'm back, I fully intend to continue streaming as soon as possible, which should help out the variety and give more mechanics-centric games where I don't just read most of the time. Likewise, I'll see what I can come up with for a third concurrent series for the channel. Persona and Fire Emblem are both franchises I love, but I'd also love to slot in another game for more mechanical difficulty if I can find the time. I've been trying to figure out how to make an Assassin's Creed series work, if I was better at Darkest Dungeon it would already be on the channel, and September is going to have both the release of Radix Chronicle and the DLC for Book of Hours (which I hadn't heard of until recently, but everything looks like it's right up my alley). Thanks for watching my stuff! I can't swerve to a new schedule immediately, but I'll definitely remember this and see what I can do in the future.

This is a great game. "Phalanx" is an ability that you can only use when breaching, and you missed your chance to use it. The game didn't let you use it in the first breach I think because it's only useful for absorbing shots from aggressive enemies during the breach, whereas it doesn't do anything after the breach.
It seems pretty fun so far! And thanks for the tip. I realized at some point that it was a Breach-specific ability, but I didn't even think about it only being useful with Aggressive enemies, so literally not being available otherwise.
