Yeah we know they are hard to repair, that’s why you guys charge 400 bucks to repair it…oh and they charge 1,000 dollars for a new built one

My 69 Continental, all my windows roll up and down, except for the driver's window, and I'm afraid to take the door apart to try and fix it. Its stuck up, it wont roll down.

This particular 2dr is a 1997-2001, I’m planning on doing the same fix on my 98 2dr. If yours is a pre 1997, I don’t know if this fix will be the same for all model years

Just wondering did you switch from showing us how to replace a window regulator from the passenger side to the driver side because you couldn't get the window to go down to get the 2 bolts to hold the window to the regulator?? And if not was the driver's window down already? If not how did you get the window down? That would be a great video.
The reason we switched to the driver door for removal of the regulator is because this vehicle did not have a passenger side regulator to begin with. So for the purpose of the "how to" video we moved to the driver side. We ended up fabricating an entire custom unit for the passenger side. We don't have an XJ here currently to make another video of how to get to bolt if the window is stuck up. But what you can do is call us at 480-570-5116 ask to speak to Angel and he can assist you with that issue.

I am having a hard time finding a window regulator. My window got busted and when it did I guess it broke that same piece off of it, The one that holds the glass with the wheel on it. I asked if it could be repaired and I was told no. How much do you think you would charge to put that back together.

There are at least 2 different cable sets and Motors on the VW Beetle, the new one has a smaller Pulley and even different rails, the motor has a modelnumber with a C at the end, so it does not fit on older model without modification.

Yeah I got a quote, 400 bucks… I’m still debating on driving my jeep off a cliff and calling the insurance company and walking away, or suck it up and cut one of my arms off to get my window function back…

Anytime we do a custom job like this, the vehicle needs to be brought to our shop for an accurate estimate on repairs. Each job is different.
