For real. Rekordbox lost a lot of customers, fact they came out with the 1000, no doubt the better controller of the 1000's I own the Rekordbox version and the Serato version. The Rekordbox version is better in QUALITY in my opinion. Now this whole subscription deal when at first it was included when you purchased the controller is str8 bull. I have not used the 1000 since then. And as far as the 1000 serato version I use it but I gravitated to the Denon Prime series and own the Prime Go, Prime 2, and the very powerful Prime 4 which is a solid stand alone that works with Serato. True the used gear line list is growing with people selling their Rekordbox 1000's and 800's. Now they may or may not go back to the own it forever license like Serato which also gives the option of buying the license or subscribing which is a great selling point. And dropping $1100 - $1200 for a controller that will add up in the near future in subscription cost is insane. This post needs to be shared to an audience that is not on that bull but on that reality. In other words.... Don't give me no broccoli and tell me it is collard greens. Word is bond.

The best way would be to plug an instrument cable from the Left and Right outputs of your Korg to the inputs of your MPC. The way you have it set up right now is useful when you like to trigger samples on your MPC using the korg as a controller or for chord progressions.

Contact cleaner spray would easily fix that issue. It’s just a dirty fader that’s worn it happens. Drop an Innofader or some lube prob solved

I’m sorry to say that I have the same exact problem with 2 out of the 4 M5Gs that I own and I’ve seen this before with the 10 tech 1200 mk2 units that I own (I ran my own side DJ business for 30+ years). Unfortunately, this is a problem with the circuit board that sits under the motor. It is most likely the driver chip part number is AN6675. You can buy it on eBay for about $47 shipped to your door. You have to fix this or eventually the platter is just gunna stop spinning all together. Could last years or it could die tomorrow during a set. Ending your performance which could be catastrophic to your DJ reputation. Either repair this problem ASAP or sell me the deck and buy yourself something else. Just keep in mind this problem Had been seen is all versions of the technics 1200s from mk2 to mk6. But is most common in the m5g because the electronic pitch controller pulls more voltage from the same exact driver computer chip that has been used on all 1200s since the MK2s. Sorry for the bad news.

Hay I have a similar issue with one of my mk5g only happens occasionally did you manage to find the source of the problem??? as i first thought pitch as it was flickering however swaped over from my other deck and the problem re appeared great-full for any input thanks

If anyone is having this problem I fixed mine by opening it taking the fader out, taking the bracket off, then the bracket back on the other way. So the fader is the same but the bracket that says numark will be upside down.

to me, it seems like the fader is bouncing. And with the cut in knob turn all the way to the right, as soon as the fader is not at the absolute right position you would will hear the other deck. try back the knob out to a position where it is more comfortable for you. that's what I had to.

Try to clean the central shaft maybe. And the magnets contacts.

As another person mentioned. Try and adjust the brake. I know it does not make sense since it is on start up but its worth a try. Get back if that does not solve it.

Use a metal fork. Slide the fork under the fader and "seesaw" the fork underneath with some pressure. Just gradually apply pressure until it comes off. I just tried it about 5 minutes ago & it was easy.
