My search for a sub-34mm dress watch has ended.
The Seiko Cocktail Time watches are all inspired by, as the name implies, cocktails. The Kir Royale is based on a French apéritif that consists out of champagne topped with Crème de cassis. The Kir Royale is regarded as a "women's cocktail", which is most likely why it was picked as the inspiration for the Seiko Kir Royale. This poses an important question: can men wear ladies watches?

It is kinda psycho video but I like it.
The only downside of this video is that the camera is too far away. The B-roll shots provided the best looks of the watch. I totally agree with you about butterfly clasps on bracelets. It feels like it’s more for looks. It sucks that so many bracelets are tainted by them. Surely it wouldn’t be hard for all these major watch companies to take a page out of the watch enthusiast world and put on a clasp the has 3-4 microadjustments (pressed or milled-it wouldn’t matter tbh). They can even keep the half-links on them

Thank you! Invicta does state "water resistance", but they've been sued for false claims for a reason. I'd not risk it! Some of the Pro Diver models do come with a screw-down crown, e.g. the bigger/automatic versions.

I am! I experiment between my GoPro and head mounting my iPhone but the GoPro gets better results, even though the quality is a bit so-so. Not really aiming for studio quality yet so it's fine for me!
You should never reviewed this watch . Going in to review a watch company you don’t like, And reviewing a quartz watch you don’t like.

Invicta has been very consistent with their pricing. The pro diver is well known in the watch community.

I like this small black diver on an olive green NATO makes for a very reliable field use watch and has that vintage Vietnam vibe. 37.5 black dial quartz coin bezel water-resistant stainless case super durable for what it is. Lume is sufficient.

This is a very silly review, no in depth checks or sizes and plenty of stupid comments about shitty and such.
In depth check on what? It's a simple Chinese made quartz watch. I have measurements (sizes) in the description: "- PC32A movement (I think) - 37.5mm diameter case excl. crown - 40mm diameter case incl. crown - 47mm lug to lug" Better value for money can be had quite easily. Solid clasps, better finishing, better materials (e.g. sapphire). This is a fully Chinese made watch that is marked up a decent amount by Invicta. If you have the time to look around, you're better off buying directly from the source themselves (look around on AliExpress). I don't care much about expensive watches as I've worn cheap Chinese ones for most of my life, but I do care about value. That's why I'm very critical. Especially since Invicta is guilty of false advertising when it comes to this specific watch (from another comment, class action lawsuit against Invicta: casetext.com/case/felice-v-invicta-watch-co-of-am-inc). I mean, if you can get one for $40-50, it's good value. Thanks for watching!
if you don't like it get a VOSTOK AMPHIBIA. Take a look at the bracelet on that then tell us what you think of the bracelet on the INVICTA.
I have looked at some Vostok's before in real life (the original models, owned by a friend of mine). They look nice but the bracelets are unremarkable as the consensus is I'm sure. You're not fooling me this time! I have read that the "new" models have nicer bracelets but I'm not sure if I can dedicate myself to a Vostok yet. The new Amphibia offerings are probably better value than the Invicta, but to be fair, Invicta's MSRP is ridiculous/intentionally inflated so that huge discounts can be applied to fool buyers. The Pro Divers can be found for their true value; $50-$60. Either way, if I wanted good value, I'd not have bought an Invicta. I mostly bought one for the irony, albeit I do wear it frequently. It's a decent watch! Just not for their asking price

It seems to me that you did not start the video well by saying that "You do not like the watch because of its reputation", it seemed that you started with a preconceived idea that it was a bad watch without trying it (someone likes a watch because of its qualities or quality). The truth is that it is a decent watch for what you pay for it. PaganiDesingn has "peculiar" models but most of them seem nice and well built, I do care about the ugly PaganiDesingn logo on the watchface, but their watches don't pretend to be a big brand, just homages. Even several of their automatic models,,to me seem better than the Invicta so popular today In all seriousness, check out reddit.com/r/ChineseWatches. You'll see some really ugly watches on there (it's Reddit after all), but you'll get a good idea of what you can get for your money's worth nowadays. Invicta is an okay choice (probably can't get that much better for ~$40-$50), but for the delicious European price of €60-€70 that I've paid (or closer to €80), you can get better. I still wear my Invicta a few days a week!

You act like ur getting this great luxury experience when it’s an 80 dollar watch. The complaining in this video is unbearable to listen to
You can hear my conclusion at 12:00; My thoughts overall are positive. I am bothered by some small things, e.g. no screw-down crown, misaligned hands, and an unnecessary engraving at the side. Fixing or changing these things is far from luxury. I have lived off of sub-$50 Chinese watches for the most part of my life and I know that you can get good, if not better value when it comes to watches. Check out Pagani, Steeldive, Baltany, Escapement time, and San Martin for example (or just scroll through www.reddit.com/r/ChineseWatches). I love my Invicta, but it's a watch that is mainly put together with left-over parts and sold at a hefty price margin. That is why I recommend buying it at or around ~€50 in my description. Luckily, it's not too hard to find these Invicta divers at that price point (even brand-new). You can get Chinese NH35 watches around/under the $80 price point (that you've mentioned), a better value in my opinion. For example, the Steeldive SD1970 sells for under $70 discounted and and has a better bracelet, better clasp, screw-down crown, a ceramic bezel, an automatic NH35 movement, better lume, a sapphire crystal, and on-par if not better finishing in comparison to the Invicta. Cheaper than your $80 and yet better in every single way. I think my complaining is justified; Invicta has strong competition :^)

A fine review on a watch im thinking of buying, i was wondering if it had a screwdown crown like my Seiko turtle. Now i know it has not, it does not worry me much since i do not dive. Perhaps a short swim in a pool or in a lake. It is not the srewdown crown that is importnant it is the gaskets in case and around the crown stem that does the work. When i get one i will pressire test it. 38mm seems like a good size, i have 8 inch wrists but i usually wears 36 to 40mm watches. Thsnk you for your work

I bought a used 8932 quartz watch from Amazon that was in excellent shape at a much lower price, even including tax, with no shipping and handling fee (as its price was still over $25 US and Amazon doesn't charge S&H fee for orders $25 or more). The designation of 8932ob for your quartz diver watch is very confusing, if not also very misleading, because it was previously reserved for the automatic version which probably has a better water resistance due to its screw-down crown that the quartz versions lack. Anyway, it seems the only differences that I can see between the two quartz versions is that your 8932ob has the timer dial identical to the automatic version that is different from my 8932. I believe the dial on the automatic or your quartz version gives a better grip to turn the dial than the one on mine, although I doubt that I would ever use it for any practical purpose - well, maybe for tracking the time of grilling meat on bbq, lol. It's also 0.5 mm wider than mine, according to the specs chart, which is a negligible difference. Seriously, only major difference between yours and mine is that mine came in a very sturdy, stylish, yellow case with a lid that was shaped like an oyster shell and the watch was wrapped around on a felt cushion. I'm sorry that your new watch was packaged like a cheap plastic watch, but perhaps Invicta decided to cut corners and save money on the packaging cost, which is a shame for their most popular watch, Pro Diver. On the other hand, perhaps because they went cheap on packaging, it does seem the price of new quartz version (yours) is lower than for the older quartz version (mine) that I presume they no longer produce and sell. And, yes, I know and read about the lawsuit against Invicta concerning the water resistance of Pro Diver series. However, I don't plan on diving 20 meters, let alone 200 meters, underwater - with or without a diver's watch! I'll just be content if my 8932 quartz watch is resistant when exposed to water during rain, dishwashing, carwashing or occasional swimming in a pool.
Mine was advertised to come with the box you mentioned, but it did not. It doesn't really matter anyways, since we're not going to wear the box! The differences you've mentioned between the two versions are very interesting, it's giving me a clearer picture of what Invicta is up to. None of us would buy this watch for diving purposes (at least, if you value your life), so it should be fine if it can handle the occasional splash. I'm still not sure if it can though, and I don't wanna find out either... Still a great watch to wear. Great value, especially at used prices!

True! That's why I try to emphasize "I like" and "I don't like". I've concluded that it's quite a nice watch at 12:00. It is indeed great value, especially since it's a ~38mm diver (which you don't see a lot at this price point). I have a hard time finding another diver that is as good or better for €50-€70. I still wear this watch multiple times a week! I just wish it had a screw-down crown like the automatic models...

What is the circumference of your wrist? Mine is around 5.1 inches which is just very small...
That is indeed quite small in the world of watches, mine are about 17cm in circumference (6.5 inches), give or take. My wrists are also very small though. I think that the Kir Royale falls on my wrist nicely due to the ~40mm lug to lug, but you might want to look at sub-30mm watches. I would also measure the length of your wrist from top to bottom: mine are about 51mm (2 inches). Use that as a reference to see if the watch doesn't completely fall over your wrist. There are some 28mm ladies watches with a ~35mm lug to lug for example, which should fit you I think!

I would have a look at any female watch in general, but try to focus more on lug to lug (l2l) rather than just the case size. In the end, the lug to lug size will determine if the watch falls completely over your wrists or sits nicely inside of it. There is a fine balance between case thickness, l2l, and case diameter. A good friend of mine suggested that you check out the 34mm Timex watches, or the Tissot female watches.

Without a screw down crown, I wouldn't be caught in the rain with this. However, after recently purchasing one (clamshell bezel) I will wear it daily as a reliable quartz wrist decoration.
The push pull style crown makes me a bit nervous too around water. I wear mine a few times a week as well, it's a reliable & nice looking watch that I can wear without worrying too much about accidentally damaging it 8)

@@lincmerc1581 Woah, I just looked it up. I didn't know about the lawsuit, but they definitely deserve it lol. I wrote about how the waterproof/depth rating is sketchy in the description of this video as well. Invicta makes bold claims, but like many cheap quartz divers, the waterproof/depth rating is usually a lie. I think (and hope) that Invicta lost the lawsuit, but I'm not sure. Just a little bit! I don't mind quartz too much, but cheaper quartz watches usually suffer a bit from build quality is what I have experienced. This Invicta diver is extremely nice for the money though. I've been wearing it frequently since February and it is holding up very well. A good all-around watch with nice finishes for sure!

Funny that my V60 waste was get along very well with my environment. What I do is just separate the used coffee from the paper filter into a container and let it dry, then I mixed the dried coffee with potting mix (30% dried coffee and 70% potting mix) for my ornamental plants. It works pretty well especially for the plants that prefer porous planting media :-D

Pretty fair review, even at what you paid I think you've still got quite a lot of bang for your buck considering it's y'know.. *A brand new watch*. Mid-size and smaller divers are becoming popular again, but there are so few sub-38mm ones on the market that the price of even cheap 1980's quartz turds with mediocre finishing that were next to worthless 5 years ago are bringing 120+ on a good day in the current climate, which is absolutely bananas. I think the thing you have to remember when it comes to this watch is that you're buying a watch that is somewhere between being an actual functional divers watch and a sort of fashion watch, which again I think for this price bracket and section of the market, Invicta offers some of the best value for money. Hello, I am watching from The Czech Republic. I enjoy your video very much! But I am wondering, does this method work also for Tea? (WHcih we call Chai, haha) We do not have much Coffe here in The Czech Republic,, And I have never tried it. I heard from American friends that it taste basically the same as Tea. But I don't know. I tried to put the same recipe in my Coffe kettle to make Tea but it burnt. MAybe if I should have less temperature. Also, why spell it Kofe in your channel name? IS this a type of Coffe?
