here's an idea. as much as I am aware that you might like the story, I've got some ideas to add on, especially the villain plot, although hopefully it won't clash too much with what was already written. we've had animal main villains (Steele being a dog and Niju being a wolf), but what about a human, specifically a hunter, one who leads a group of hunters and kills even entire packs for sport, money and to stroke his own ego, and so evil that even Steele pales in comparison, but Steele will be in it, albeit as the secondary villain with the hunter being his new owner, having a mutual hatred of Balto. This hunter will also be responsible for Balto being orphaned. Balto's father originally belonging to the hunter along with several others, but was treated conditionally, but then he fell in love with Ainu, who saved his life from a snowstorm. when the hunter found out, he spitefully kills Balto's father a while after Balto was born. Balto believe he was accidently separated from his Ainu, but it was in fact because the hunter eventually caught up with Ainu and killed her, resulting in her becoming a spirit and Balto led to being adopted. the hunter sees Balto as a reminder of the blow to his ego but also as a worthy trophy, being half dog and half wolf, and also wants to wipe out the wolf pack from Balto II: Wolf Quest along with other packs of animals to stroke his own ego and hoping to lure Balto to him so as to stroke it even further. During the final act, he goes as far as setting the forest they are in on fire to wipe multiple packs of animals in one fell swoop , even if it means risking the lives of his henchmen and innocent humans nearby. what follows is a final battle in which Balto and Aleu, and all their friends and family unite all the clans of animals, even Nava and a semi-reformed Niju to fight back against the hunter, ending up with his henchmen retreating, Steele getting killed, the hunter going mad from obession, leading to a final battle between him, Balto and Aleu. while Balto spares him, so as not to be like him, the hunter ends up sealing his own doom and is killed by the fire that he himself started, along with the spirits of the animals he's killed. the fires are out out, courtesy of the townspieple, led to the area by Jenna, working together to put out the fires. hope you like the idea and add it in, at least for part 2. I would be disappointed if it isn't.
