Another load of BULL. Police = Theft Police = Corruption Police = Lies Police = Two tier Police = Rape Police = No trust
shouldnt every force treat their "island" the same. and be respcted the same from neighbouring forces. ?
Reinventing the wheel! It used to be called Community Policing. The academics have no doubt thought long and hard about this initiative. Ask any of their NARPO members to explain their policing experiences. Yes, technology has changed but not at the expense of losing that physical contact with the public. Constables, not PCSOs to patrol. Policing is expensive; embrace the expense to increase public confidence in the police. Use the Peelian principles!
Pleasant place to visit but an insular little Island with generally low crime and safety risk stats-the drug problem is classed as moderate. I reckon even your uncle could police the place efficiently. On a more contentious point, many of the Channel Islanders were deemed collaborators with Germany during WW11 due to their apparent unwillingness to put forward any credible resistance.
The only thing they respond to is the doughnuts in the canteen coming out of the oven.

Holy cow. They really are brainless. This is the worst attempt at Copaganda I’ve ever seen.
it systems are antiquated, nationally.why do you need to phone anyone? there advantages and dissadvantages to keeping things seperate force to force or nationally. but them barriers could be overcome easily. civilian workers and people being accepted into the police at a later stage in their life are a bigger risk. again train train train especially idiots who just got a degree. i never forget a face.

start with their IT systems.either is untrained idiot civilian staff. or its the gov are not investing properly. stop giving chefs money to spend where they think is best, obviously front line mostly. the gov should be providing the backbone. up to date IT systems etc. for all forces. all under a very tight security system that should be layerd.
