Reminded Of Life’s Mysteries ~ Moon Setting At Sunrise & Beach Walk w/ Rosie & Sadie
As I was in awe of the beautiful full moon & simultaneous sunrise i had memories of Aunt Doreen & Zen sitting & all she taught me. She was my best friend in the 90s & will always be with me in these moments.
As we live our lives, live in this room [of our mind & experience] who enters & leaves this room?
Today i had Aunt Doreen & one other visit me.

I really appreciated you taking the time to actually explain how the batteries work and the functionality of "battery power". I am not living in an RV or Van at this point but am fascinated with the lifestyle and am always so confused when people talk about power systems, so this was very helpful. I am now subscribed and look forward to more of your story! Thank you 🙂
@@mermaidmama5890 oh thank you so much you might enjoy some of the videos from the ice cream property where I am dealing with the solar panel and re-charging things. Jackery has been super helpful and understanding true power usage in watts. I love the battery staff as well and learning about the voltage. I have been having some trouble with my furnace and I recently learned that it may not be the furnace at all but in fact either voltage that is too high or too low coming into the system! I would like to do a video on that I am learning so much at the RV service shop 💕❤️💕
Girl I get it. I can so relate to everything you were saying especially about family.
Thank you so much for understanding & taking the time to comment 🙏

Hang in there Carol. Happy holidays!
It's so great to get to a point where you can look back and reflect on everything you experienced. It's essential actually because that's how you see where you were and how you got here. Perspective - New insights. yea
Safe travels Carol!
Someone should tell all of those spammers that I don’t consent to their constant emails lol 😹
I understand so much. I lost my home to a trailer park. I got rv and everybody says stuff to me too. But if I didn't have it I would be completely homeless. Judgemental people end up with a similar situation and takes a hard pill to swallow to say I see and I am sorry. I just want to get moving some locally

That is so cool, I sold in 2020 but the pandemic really altered my plans to travel in the USA at that time. Finally got to do some of that with my trip west fall 2023

@@BubbaStaines indeed, quite the character. lived in a van, met his wife in europe travelling & had a daughter. he’s still living on a boat. i will admit however that he kept stepping closer and closer until he ended up brushing against me ~ i simply said “be mindful of your hands” so he may have had some issue understanding boundaries...possibly

What do you have ? Change out the minivan ?
my winter residence is a RV Class C motorhome
Yes sort of .. still have the van but it needs work to certify in BC i’ve had the rv since Dec 2020 was planning to travel awhile but the lock downs were on so it limited my camping to Vancouver island

Hello Beautiful..
Hi Cousin ❤️
I so admire your mostly positive attitude with all you’re going through. Hope your rig repairs are covered by the warranty and things improve so you can thrive after all. 🙏🏻
Thank u 🙏
Good luck with the trans. Hope you get squared away in good time!
Thank you Doc 🙏
How old is your RV? We love having a Class C, but it can be such a pain to get from point A to point B when you need to fully break camp.
It’s a 2016 with just under 156,000 km on it I agree breaking camp was a pain ~ in 2020 lived at weir beach for 3 months but ended up doing a tour of vancouver island in the last month it was a lot to pack up etc ... but now I’m on the move daily so it’s much easier in that sense to be boondocking 😊
I'd love to know how you made that ventilation screen 😊
It wasn’t permanent and I’ll have to redo it each season but I took the foam pipe insulation and cut 4 pieces 2 for the length and two for the couple inches height then used heavy duty duct tape to tape the screen to it and to the outer edge of the van 😊
It's hard to know whether, in the times when, as my mom used to say "It's just one darned thing after another!", this is something you just have to wait out until things get better because, as nothing stays the same, they do get better, (we hope not worse). The other consideration is that the universe is trying to tell you something and you should listen and make a change. It's often difficult to know which it is and what to do. My experience teaches me to ride it out as best you can and when there is light again, reflect and make a decision from there.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment ~ i wish i knew if this is just more of being tested or if it’s a sign to change. Lots of contemplating to do. Waiting to hear on the rv status which will help me see the options ahead ...
@@part-timephilosopherLol You will know at some point. Try not to despair. More platitudes ha ...but there really is a time for everything - "a time to tear down and a time to build" 🙂
@@tara4486 thank you for your kind thoughts :)
Why not a bucket indoor compost toilet. They make a toilet seat you put on a 5 gallon bucket. Line with plastic bag and use wood chips. Use and set outside. Easy. No smell.
You know what, I like that idea very much. I was just keeping the compost toilet out there as permanent but I love your idea of a chamber wood chip potty 😊

Seems like perpetual "sundowners" effect. Living in the northern hemisphere your winters are longer and colder and the warmer months are so short. I can understand the weight on your shoulders. Living in Northern Michigan I get it and I want to get away from it. Of course leaving friends I have known for so many years is going to be difficult. I tried it once about 8 years ago under different circumstances and ended up returning. My time is running short now. Soon I will be out of a job and my escape plan has been in the making for over a year now. The body needs warmth and sunshine. We need to activate that vitamin D. Negativity is a killer. Over the last 20 years I was able to escape it. The previous 40 years of negativity made me feel like I was a failure, like I was in prison. Always worried about my wife leaving me, paying the bills, trying to fix her, dealing with my children, daily chores that no one ever helped with. There was a constant weight on my shoulders that kept me DOWN! When it all fell apart it took several years to find a bliss that I had never experienced before. Now that my life is about to do an about face, the pressure is starting to build up again. The constant concern of uncertainty. What if I fail at being houseless? What will I do then?
as always a very thoughtful comment. I wonder too about failing being houseless .... it seems like this location {city of Victoria} isn’t a good place to be doing this. A small town would be great I think ~ or it was when I did it last time boondocking in Holberg BC I’m torn though between my two lives ... my son, my partner & friends in Ontario ... and my daughter, 95 year old Auntie Norma & wonderful friends here. I do love living so close to the outside .. I love hearing the rain, having the wind rock nudge the rv to and fro ... love hearing the birds .. as I’m writing this I’m recalling a progressing feeling of claustrophobia that was creeping into me as I moved from the country to Peterborough. The country house was on a hilltop and very exposed to an part of the elements. The first Peterborough house had a huge backyard and I could hear the crickets from my bed with the window open. The next house however was closer to downtown ... no sounds of nature at all from inside. I feel like that at my partners house in Toronto a disconnection from nature. I just don’t feel as well in the absence of it
Greetings from Mississauga. I will be on my way to live without rushing very soon, I might even meet you there. Take care
That’s so wonderful to hear ❤️
I think you should probably get your head checked out. This is a lot of ranting and nonsense.
