I actually had my friend round when I did the Final Trial, this is what happened when Monk Maz Koshia started moving... Friend: Careful Link, this old man's gonna throw hands... *Link gets teleported to an arena* Friend: I WAS JOKING WHAT!?!?!?
It has been quite some time now since I played the OG game and the DLC. I had a lot of criticism toward this game when I first played it, but after all these years and with Tears of the Kingdom having released I can officially say that I was too harsh on this game. Don't get me wrong, there are still a lot of things I have strong opinions about with this game. But if there is one thing that I have to say Nintendo did perfectly with this game it was this DLC. And this boss fight to be specific. The moment Maz Koshia started to move was such a strong opening to what would lead into such an epic fight with an even grander price for beating it. Again there is a lot about this game that I don't like or find stupid, even after I realized that I was wrong with a lot of things. But this, this wasn't one of these things.
The best part about this fight is that you can distract Maz one time using a banana Like bro could be in the middle of slicing you to pieces but he brain sees banana so he must obtain it
@@Josuh Then you must be in a minority of the discourse around this game’s music, because a very vocal amount of people within the game’s launch year literally got upset at the game for “Not having any music” and “Only using Piano”.
I love how monk maz koshia was a much better boss fight than ganondorf in totk, y’know, the villain that’s practically known for having good boss fights.
So ahem i tryed him in Master mode it toke me a solid hour to beat him all my weapons broke and i did bearly any damage so bless godess hylia because i got very lucky with the attack pattern on his attack so to anyone doing it in master mode best of luck to all of you
People are.having fun in comments and etc. But for me, it felt very epic when I got to that part of DLC. The boss also was hard for me, so it was even more fun. It was a fun duel.
the maz koshia fight is basically a geometry dash level that's only difficult because of its buggy yet interesting gimmicks, hard to learn but fun to play tricks, and random memory parts thrown in for flavor
This really sets itself apart from the other themes with that funky cello/synth bass. And that's a good thing. Unlike the other bosses, who are evil and have no intention of ever sparing you, Maz Koshia is simply testing you. He doesn't want to kill you, but he will if he has to. This has a far less sinister sound, and more of that fast paced "are you ready?" vibe that was perfect for this fight.
watching this on 2017 youtube layout feels crazy, also, how old do you think maz koshia even is?
Dark samus 3 - metroid prime 2 echoes final boss
I love the shrine entering sound that plays
Wait ! Why does koshia have a kinda yiga mask thing Hmmmmmmmmmmmm ) :<
"May the Goddess Hylia have mercy on you." *stands up* "Because I sure as hell won't."
“You have done well to make it here” **gets up** “Why do i hear boss music?”
certified hood classic

There will be Mighty Bananas at the function.
Monk Maz Koshia Kicks Your Ass ASMR (10 hour marathon edition)
This sounds like it could fit well in a Kirby game. Planet robobot I’d say.
When you have this in MiniPlayer… the image looks a bit off…
grandpa tries to kill me Me: oh dang it

"How skilled are you with the piano?" "Yes"

to be fair he probably hasn't eaten shit in decades (or even centuries)

Probably the most underrated Zelda song ever

0:40 "Let us begin."
"I'm back! Sorry, it was calamity out there. I had to beat an old man with a stick to get this bike."
Why don't this guy team up with you to defeat Ganon?
Maz koshia really pulled a "What's 17 more years" on link
I Love this song
Pit Maz Koshia against TOTK Ganondorf and he'd send him back to the slumber realm 😂
Pov: SECRET forces the Plague Doctor mask onto Moven and makes Moven into Plague Moven, and causes one of the most nicest bossfights ive seen.
This music sounds like what playing a level 20 Monk in D&D feels like.

Who was in the studio
Max Koshia himself.
Maz Koshia himself.
You face the shrines chief engineer
I swear to Hylia this guy was harder to defeat than Calamity Ganon in master mode
WE GONNA TEND TO THE ELDERLIES WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
It took me 40 minutes, 20 hearty durians, and all the weapons in my inventory but I got him on Master Mode
Did you know that is ran thoe shrine theme but sped up😂
