condsate drain is messed up the open tee allows blower to suck air causing drain pan not to drain when blower causing negative pressure cap the tee and install P trap at least 1 in for each ton of ac fill trap with water this will allow Pan to drain with blower running just need to remember to service each time filters are replaced flush l traps as they will collect dirt from air and grow mold that can plug trap from draining
If it has a Goodman condenser then it has double drier filters on liquid line. One on the condenser factory installed and one in the basement. The pvc flue doesn't have enough slope
Curious cause I only do service, what would you end up doing to hold up that uncased coil during a furnace swap? I have had them where the coil sits ontop the furnace with no mounts and it makes it a PITA to try to keep the coil from falling.
Man that Aprilaire is gross, looks like something was maybe dripping on it too. I always put the condensate pumps on the floor, surprised they risked hitting the heat exchanger mounting it like that. I got tired of customers hitting pumps that are mounted and breaking the black pan and causing leaks so on the floor is my go to. For sure would replace the pump anyway if new AC/Hum, does your region codes require the contacts of the pump be wired to the equipment if you go with a pump that has them?
I love posts like these. Less than 100 views, the title is just a date and completely nondescript, and it just gets recommended out of nowhere. It’s like getting a genuine peak into someone else’s life, and you always learn something from it. It’s like a reminder of what UA-cam once was.

Thank Goodness for Goodman the BESTEST HVAC EQUIPMENT IN THE WORLD.
I hope you're not installing the new one the same way as that isn't to code.

Saving the world... one unedited video at a time....
Thanks for keeping the replacement a good ole 80%er, they'll still see a ton of savings with a two stage model.
