For the Hot Sauce Bottle crochet, I Would try Bernat Blanket Brights in Race Car Red or Bernat Blanket yarn in Cranberry, they’re 10.5 oz skeins, for $8.99 at Joann’s right now on sale. It’s far more sturdy then Parfait Chunky type yarns, especially for something that may get some wear and tear.

I find it helps to hold the parfait chunky strand with a 4 weight strand yarn in the same color together when doing Magic Ring, it keeps it from breaking. Once you’ve cinched the ring closed, cut off the other yarn and keep going with the Parfait Chunky, leave some leeway from the other yarn to weave in later, it’s a game changer 😊

Welcome to the rabbit hole of spinning! I took my first dive August 2023. Now I’ll often have a spindle in my laptop bag to take to the office, for some lunch break spinning, and I own a small e-spinner for after work spinning at home. I use my home spun yarn in lace knitting and will never have to play yarn chicken again… because when I’m in danger of running out I can spin some more. I’m not stuck with skeins of leftover yarn after a project either. I absolutely love it and hope you’ll love it just as much! Happy spinning!

If you like hobbii cotton yarns definitely try their Cotton deluxe cakes, they are the softest 100% cotton yarn they have I think, sadly the full prices are way overpriced in my opinion so try to catch it when it's on sale maybe haha
