This video is about the Boxing Association of Queensland annual Boxing Hall of Fame inductions. This includes the induction of Billy Johnstone, Mark Ericksen, Colin Wilson, Greg Hooper and Trevor Thornbury.
This year a new award has been created called the "Wally and Ollie Taylor" Award for people that have provided services to the sport of 'Boxing' that were not necessarily fighters.

Billy had an outstanding professional career that included the Queensland State 'Middleweight' and 'Super Welterweight' Titles. Billy was also an outstanding Rugby League Player. Professional record - 27 fights, 21 wins and 6 losses.

Greg won 2 "Golden Gloves" titles in 1979 and 1980. He turned professional in 1981 and had 9 professional bouts. Greg opened a Gym in 2009 in Townsville where he has hosted more than 25 tournaments. He has trained hundreds of children over the years, particularly '1st Nations' fighters

Colin Wilson was inducted by Paul Moore into the Qld Boxing Hall of Fame. Colin Retired on 29th March 2019 after holding the Australian Heavyweight on 3 separate occasions.

Me and my mates got to train with Mark in albury when we were young , one of the best blokes I've ever met and a really great role model especially for young blokes who haven't got any! Always think of Mark hope he is well!!
Weak fight
Great fight tho, blue has slow hands that come like rocks and red is a master at tapping.
Blue corner could of stoped the kid in the red he eats to much.
