I have never change oil in any vehicle ever. So...
We bought a tractor

Today we bought a Rural King RK37 hydrostatic shift, front loader and 16in disc tractor. This will be a larger, quick learning curve this spring and summer. We will document as we go. Fun times.
Never use a open ended wrench when you can use a closed or even a socket.
Thanks for your video
I am like you. I just am going to grease the fittings and change the oil at 50 hours and then about every 200 or 300 hours. I will change the transmission filter & oil the same and nothing else. What can go wrong with this type of maintenance??? Why the need to replace the hydraulic and gear oil? Any advice.
Wat for oil did you use synthetic oil or conventional
SYNTHETIC BLEND HD SAE 15W-40 DIESEL ENGINE OIL
@@Maingoal1973 thanks I live below flat rock
You’re mistake was draining the front axle oil and thinking it was the engine oil. Notice the color on the dip stick after you add oil. It’s still dark as coal. Should look like honey. Also the oil you drain (gear oil from axle) is light in color vs the dark color in the dip stick. This could be extremely costly considering you added about a gallon of oil to a full engine oil pan. If you haven’t got this worked out PLEASE do not start the tractor again until the engine oil is 100% drained (from the correct location/ engine oil pan) and refilled. Personally I’d but another new 8$ filter on to because it’s contaminated with the old oil. I’d hate for it to cost you an engine. Paying for the transportation to service is going to be cheaper for sure. If there is any questions I can answer for you please reach out.
I noticed that right away new oil filter new oil all mixed with the old dirty oil
A big F-ing oops I didn’t drain the engine oil at all. Need to go back and to that. Thanks to my pops for the catch after he watched my video all the way back in England.
