Got myself some flashy North and Judd Herculean spurs. Slap them on my Tony Llama stingray skins and hit my local steakhouse. *clang clang clang* #Fashion Never used them when riding a horse though…. 🐎

Off subject.. there are plow horses that pull forward, and roping horses that pull backwards when holding a steer/cow. Does a horse have more power pulling or backing up?

I tend to get mine custom made, but there are a lot of good saddlemakers out there. I personally like Courts, Cactus, Double J, King Ranch, Tod Slone.. all are very good..

I have been watching your videos. I have liked them all and wanted you to know how much your efforts have taught me. I am a rancher/farmer here in Southeastern Utah. I am 71 years old and have been ranching a long time now and I have learned one thing and that is that you are never too old or to knowledgeable to learn. I raise alfalfa hay to feed the stock in the winter. People here run their herds on the mountains in the summer and on the red rock desert in the winter. We do not do much if any roping but we do have to gather the herd and drive them from range to another (always keep an old heifer to guide the herd where it needs to go). This can be hard at times when they disappear up a narrow red rock canyon. I use a Colorado Association saddle which seems to work well in our rough country. I did want to thank you for your videos.
