God damn, you really must not give a damn about your help, hand sander, no mask, no filter on the sander, called that amount of sanding 10 minutes worth of work…
With orbital sander you work days to get a deck done. Sorry but it's just waste of time, truly waste. Get a belt sander at least if you can't find a proper floor sander
@@themrnonickname Those are 10+ foot boards. At 30 seconds a foot that's 5 minute per board if you don't do the gaps. Easy a half hour worth or work not 10 minutes
@@roadtoserfdom3020 very true I do decks and the masks my boss gives there small and when you sweat the start a rash on your face. Will wear one when blowing the deck off though
Angle grinder with the flap disc is good but only if you move in one direction and know what you’re doing. That citristrip works really well. I just went through it with my red solid stain. Have to wet it before and do it when it’s cool and shady and mist it if it dries within the hour, but honestly came off better in the first 40 minutes. I saw people talking about leaving it overnight with plastic wrap and all this craziness, like really 45 minutes tops.
That stain didn’t penetrate well at all
No mask?
What ppe protection
What color, which product?
A year old?? 😮

lol you need to help or get this man a square scrub. Right now he’s cussing you like put the damn camera down, this ain’t Hollywood!
Get a floor sander. For bulk removal then finish off with palm sander.

To this day he's still sanding the deck
One year old? That looks like a decade
What’s wrong with Ready Seal? Sounds like someone who doesn’t work showing how his employee works…..and why no dust mask 😷?
Let's rent a floor sander
I rebuilt the old deck with trex. No more of this maintenance, sanding, re staining....what a pain that shit was.
Needs a respirator, dust protection for eyes.
What number is the sandpaper?
What number is the sandpaper?
An extension would make this 100% easier...
That’s not 10 minutes so far. I just got done sanding with the orbital sander. That’s about hour and a half worth so far.
He sanded a foot in 30 seconds. Just accept your low skills...

@@aKjohn8798 why wouldnt you rent a large sander meant for decks? I guess the slave labor is cheaper and more fulfilling to watch.
You should make him wear a mask!!
@@ar007r😂
No mask is crazy .
He's outside. Lol
it is not recomended. damage to the screws and also deform the natural shape of the boards
What grit?

Neanderthal
Hell on earth but the prep is necessary.
Drywall pole sander electric
If the wood was flat as can be but the cupping of the wood is the problem
So you don’t need a stain stripper. You ou can just sand
The time U spend ......is changing the sand papers....not the job
But 10 minutes so far...? I say...no less than an hour. Ck your time well.
i had no luck with a hand sander like that
You probably didn't use a low enough grit, gotta start with a 36
look at BELT SANDERS i didnt find them till AFTER i did my deck 😭😭😭😭
Damn can’t get a bigger sander? 😂 poor guy. 1 week job into 3 weeks!
A fkn palm sander?wtf
Looks like a circular sander. Doesn't it leave marks where I sands against the grain? I looks great!
I sand with grain and go against it all day long.
No. Its vibrate and slow turn
Why don't it ursellf then U say it eazy! Rent power tool b!tch!
Why do you use an orbital instead of a belt sander?
That stain is only a year old?? Are they having to go through this process every single year??
i plan to do mine every 3-4 years...every year seems like a pita
I feel like if you're having to do this every year, you're doing something wrong.
Use oil base@@LateBloomerMedia
Wow o power washed mine and it looks like your before - I have a belt sander like that I’m gonna do this I think
May I suggest a floor sander?😂😂😂😂😂
Do you ever pressure wash and cleaner, then sand, then stain ? Or what’s the usual/best method you guys do
Sand Wash Stain in that order
No face mask 😷?
Give some mask to your employees please
Maybe he doesn't want one....
@@roadtoserfdom3020he needs one

What grit do you use?
Try using that with a solid stain, good luck.

This will probably only take a year and a half to finish sanding
Guy is still sanding 3 weeks later
These guys are doing it right Washing the deck with chemicals is overkill
