Different countries have different numbers (or sets of numbers in some cases - France has like 4 different ones, one for each department).

Since you were wondering, the "NOT IN THIS COUNTRY, SHARON!" is a reference to a line in The BOSS. It's spoken by the "Narrator"/Employee 207, who was voiced by a guy named David. He actually ad-libbed that line and it kind of turned into a meme. This is one of many little Easter eggs the developers threw in.

Genie is blue when attached to the lamp or mostly when not in public. He’s in human form when in public as seen in the trailer. It wouldn’t make sense to have him exposing himself as a magical genie if he was just blue. So it’s great to have him disguised in a human form. I’m not worried about Will Smith tbh! I knew he’s going to put his own twist in the genie..you can see it in the trailer even in “Friend Like Me” you can hear a slight change..a more hip hop/pop kind of sound.

Dunno if you've been told this yet: rooster teeth is 100% okay with people reacting to this series but sometimes they accidentally flag videos for copyright from the music. Most reactors cut the openings entirely or just cut some of it out to avoid the strike.

Hey man, it's great to have you on board. A word of advice: this fandom is infamous for spoilers, so get somebody to moderate comments for you. Many people will try to be funny or clever and post thinly veiled spoilers, and I would hate for you to have something ruined.

once you'll have watched the trailers, when you watch the next episodes, you will see some episodes are two-parts. As they are really short, you should do each parts together (2/3 - 4/5 - 6/7 - 9/10 - 11/12) they had to cut it in two parts because of problems of money (same reason why people behind are left in black - not enough money to animate them) Don't worry, it always get better and better, you will LOVE the series!

If this wasn't your first exposure to RWBY, what did you watch first?

A lot of first time watchers will miss the fact that if you look at some of the crates on the train you'll see a symbol shown before.

I bet you will like Yellow though. It is many people's favorite.

Blake's trailer has always been the least interesting to me. Blake herself as a character is far from my favorite as well. She's not horrible. But there's just a few characters in the show who are more my style (cough cough, Weiss for life!)

Not only are these trailers canon, but the lyrics to every single song in the entire soundtrack has meaning to each character and are canon as well. I'd suggest checking out the lyric videos to at least each of the main four characters "theme songs" at some point. Whether or not you upload them as reactions is up to you, but at least check them out. Ruby's theme song is "Red Like Roses part II". Weiss' song is "Mirror Mirror". Blake's is "From Shadows". Yang's is "I Burn.

Welcome to the RWBY fandom.... you're in for quite a ride. Just so you know, the singer of the song (who was 14 at the time it was recorded IIRC) is not the character's voice actress. Also, in case you didn't catch it, the fighting of the knight was a flashback; she was using the memory of it to help inspire her song (you see when she is singing that the has the scar from the punch the knight hit her with)
