When I am down depressed o watch a lucy show it uplifts Mr she's the best! She's always a go to all the time especially lucy and Viv theirs a chemistry together that's why they worked great together and best friend! When something works you stick together❤❤😊

The reason why she was so famous was because there was no competition back then. It's like taking candy from a fish or shooting kids in a barrel. There was 3 networks handful of shows. Her shows just get sadder and sadder.
Lucille Ball was THE master of working with props. That scene where she sets the table, unsets it, then resets it again is so technically difficult, but she executes it so flawlessly you don't realize how difficult it was. She not only had to go through all those complicated motions without missing a beat but simultaneously had to make it all funny. That is no small feat. Only the most skilled performer could pull that off. It's a brilliant piece of comedic artistry.
I watched an episode of classic Lucy at one of my dog racing friends houses one night had it playing on my phone an he'd look over at it from regular TV and watch it His house was an old farm house with a small black and white TV upstairs in one of the bedrooms made me think of guests staying over an watching old shows like this on it those were the days when things were simple an TV shows were Good an worth watching😎
My favorite Lucy Show episode is the Christmas one where Lucy and Vivian can't agree on how to decorate the tree so they each put up their own tree and end up destroying them.
Lucy and Viv are a tonic for the ages. Brilliant comedy and so funny. Their shows were very special in my youth and still in my senior years right now.
