    Wow. What a gem this is! I consider this one of the most colorful storytelling from a most golden era of the Dragon's pivotal years of exacting self expression in the conceptual kettle of firsthand martial arts experimentation. By the sound, there were very few "students " before him, being before Bruce even redeveloped the art to cater to himself, and yet still being a relatively green Wing Chun practitioner, the already awe inspired polish of reflex attributes were apparent. To all that like to question whether he was really "that" good.. the perfect response is the real, simple fact that one can only speculate against the legendary status quo claimed... until or unless they were to engage with him in hand to hand. Fittingly so. And might i remind them all that the whole of census from the people fortunate enough to have lived along side Bruce say it to be the same. The tales of almost otherworldly efficient skills concurred. And yet an even more monumentum achievement that i think should get higher appreciative acknowledgement, is that of his physical and philosophical unbinding liberation of due diligent conformity within cultural and "self expression " artistry grounded to strict and definitive stylized forms. (The entire concept of formlessness development). This retelling of memories : will be long cherished by this fan and practitioner of the arts, the man. 🙏

    There is zero evidence he ever fought any boxing matches in the Air Force. Anyone with a hundred fights undefeated would have been well known.

    • @fletchkeilman2205
      @fletchkeilman2205 3 місяці тому

      Not really. Smoker fights included even, people have a hard time recalling those things, simply because they were usually done on a whim. Not saying he did or didn't, but I've known quite a few decent fighters that forget or embellish their exploits all the time. It doesn't take away from their ability....it just sort of showed they really couldn't keep track of things properly, and over time, it was easy to just say a number.

    • @cuzz63
      @cuzz63 3 місяці тому

      @@fletchkeilman2205 well if your fighting on a whim its doubtful your fighting anyone with skills very often. I have never met a fighter who forgot his record. I have known fighters who padded their records. The people I have known who claimed hundreds of fights and being undefeated were always bullshit artists. Just doesnt stand the smell test. The harder ones to out are the bullshitters who claim a losing record...like 3 win and 5 losses...its makes them sound legit cause who would lie about a losing record.
