Very sensitive playing to be sure.. Glad you sited a selection on my site and it l lead to your performances. Always loved piano music but not much more than a hobby player now and then. I have an Ampico roll of this selection but I have to say yours is better. I would be interested in your opinions on the historic recordings of similar selections played in the 20s for reproducing systems. I know mine isn't able to handle the very soft playing even though it was designed to do so. A few notes that need some work won't strike very loudly so I have to increase the lower end by some. I hope the rebuilder can address that issue soon. ua-cam.com/video/_F7SDIHIjhA/v-deo.html
One other thought, even though some rolls may be less than perfect playing, My guess is that compared to a vintage horn recording which pretty much makes them sound more like a toy piano, that in comparison hearing their playing on a real piano probably was far more like them than the record at the time could do.
Tan bello todo...❤

Настолько тонко, нежно, проникновенно .. слов нет!
This is SO great.
Beautiful!
His piano 4 hand performances with his wife are wonderful. So sensitive. It's been a long time since I heard them and I realize now how much I miss them.
Organo
Интересно было бы ознакомиться информацией о исполнителе . 🔥🔥🔥
Вот да! Великолепнейший пианист!
So wonderful to see this . We always hear about this great teacher . What a great life always surrounded by musicians and coming from his lineage .Vibrating pedaletc. He really knew also the technical/anatomical secrets . Those who heard Artur before 2nd War said he had fastidious technique and electronic equipment may have phased him .Older Germans talk about this vibrato on the keys -it's impossible to do it with fingers one would have to find a way to make the hammer shake ! There's a lot of nonsense in pianoplaying ,you can't get to creative invention this way . Thelonious monk couldn't play an even scale to save his life but he communicated intensely and he was always in it . The first time I heard Schnabel play Beethoven ,I was amazed at how alive, excited and rhythmically alive and alert this great intellectual was ! I just had the biggest shock I've had in years .The pp in the Eb section of the Chopin 1st ballade . How is it we all play this music and don't pay attention to the directions of the composer. I cant believe there is a pp there. I'm going to check all my editions !
Absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed it so much. What a wonderful teacher he was.
Красавчик!
Отлично!
Симон,ты отличный пианист!
Esecutore superbravo!
im a composer myself and dont see the hype. i get that its insanely hard to play and write, but it doesnt bring joy to anyone, its not fun or interesting either. its just a big organized mess. i write 10x better.
Lol ok let’s hear your stuff
Wonderful playing! Brilliant and poetic!
I've been trying to learn this piece and it's so weird to read and coordinate the notes with the fingers. Do you have any tips on fingerings especially at the beginning of the piece?
