Roy Batty is a very cool cyberpunk character; he looks great, he talks very well, he is intelligent and he is not really a villian, he is just partly a villian. Blade Runner is a cyberpunk masterpiece. It means a lot to me. Cyberpunk means a lot to me.

I ran across Miss Mathieu singing this in front of the Eiffel Tower a few years ago. I knew the music of Your Anthem, not the words. Fortunately, there were English subtitles. She sings with such sincere passion words weren't necessary. Even as an American I came away with one thought, " Vive la France"
