Step 1: Gather Your Files
Collect all necessary documents: Before creating your ZIP folder, ensure you have all required files, such as practical reports, data sheets, and any additional materials specified by KNEC.
Organize your files: Create a dedicated folder on your desktop or another easy-to-access location. Name it “KNEC Practical 2024” to keep your files organized.
Step 2: Create the ZIP Folder
On Windows:
Select your files: Highlight all the documents you want to include in the ZIP folder. You can hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple files.
Right-click: Once your files are selected, right-click on one of the highlighted files.
Choose ‘Send to’: From the context menu, hover over the “Send to” option.
Select ‘Compressed (zipped) folder’: Click on this option to create a ZIP folder containing all your selected files.
Rename the ZIP folder: A new ZIP folder will appear in the same location. You can rename it to something like “KNEC_Practical_2024.zip” for easy identification.
