Like that he even in a band had pop sensibility and even touches of electronica, but Matt's solo work really shows it. Too bad its hard to find a full version of the Youngblood remix which is AMAZING!
You are not really following any of them tho, are you? They've been in regular rehearsals for months now and have some (tba) dates coming on for their 10yr anniversary.
Julia68yt well according to the internet their active years were 2009-2010. Wikipedia doesn’t show anything happening after that and their website is no longer. So excuse me if they are active and doing things. It would be nice to hear about them as they are good and if you actually read my post it was a positive comment and not intended as a negative reflection on them. They are that good. Julia68yt can you provide information on them and where I can find upcoming events and a website to see what is going on. Thanks and seven summers great video
@@castcharger101 I didn't take any of that as negative ... but sorry ... "the" internet. That's a good one. Wikipedia has become a certified dumpster fire a long time ago, regarding public figures anyway. Editors infighting. Nobody cares anymore. No. When I say "follow" I mean twitter, facebook, instagram where one can actually get word form the very people in question themselves. I have signed up to those for that purpose alone. 7S has an active fb page (sevensummersofficial). Several band members are on instagram (jon_bass_7, neillo173,alexpbaker) and regularly post studio pics. Not to mention Matt who is active on all 3.
every time I hear this, I'm reminded of Matts awesome voice. And of course the guys backing him up musically. I just wish all of them would have done something and broke the silence. This music is needed soooooo much on our radios
Matt's doing the rock, funk, classic thing and a bit of pop, too. He has a live band now who back him up on tour (if you like, check my featured playlist). As you can read on their facebook page the members of 7S have long since moved on.
Matt - where have you been. Don't what you'e been through since the xfactor but mate, you're too good not to fly. Get back on the horse please. You're a LEDGE!
Um... Matt has 2 more solo albums out by now, charting #1 indie, a brilliant full month full out rock tour just this April, headlining several acoustic festivals and in the process of writing & recording his upcoming 4th album in as many years.
As long as these no-ones make his albums chart this high up and filling up theaters whenever he tours ( with as little promo he puts into it , too ) ... he will be exceptionally fine, and exactly where he wants to be.
I love how bits of Seven Summers still shine through Matt's rockier pieces. "For every heartbreak", "Your somebody", "In Chains" and "Your kind of love" are awesome :)
what a great track from a superb album. It popped up on the i-pod the other day. Much as I quite like his stuff since X factor, this has an edginess and balls, and thats what's been missing.
Matt insists that his only regret from the past is those yellow trousers. If you watch him here, unable to look at the camera and the watch him in the videos from his recent Unplugged tour, it is like two different people. He always had the talent, he is still incredibly humble, but being an X Factor winner helped him come out of his shell and be the confident, interactive performer that he is now. I don't think that would have happened any other way.
Matt thats amazing u and seven summers should team up again and tour Ireland.... it would be such fun babe xx love you Mr. Cardle and plz dnt leave it another whole year b4 comin back to Dublin... maybe next time i could show u the sights.... hope 2 see u soon
Matt NEEDS to get this band back out on the road, such good stuff !! want a vid of picture of you !! such a great track !!! Lets see Seven Summers back out there PLEASE !!!!
It was all tied up in contract crap. He was not allowed to perform anything that he co-wrote with anybody, that Sony had not approved of. They did not want him to perform with Ali McMillan or the members of Seven Summers either, because it would promote the sale of his previously released albums. Now that he is free of Sony's interference, he is doing this song in concert as an acoustic number and performing with Ali all the time. Ali has even reissued the Darwyn albums with new art work.

Great song for this video of this

Where are all of your videos ?They've been deleted from my playlist ! :(
Try their facebook's video album. Still 4 live recordings in there :) UA-cam videos have been gone for a (long) while now.
Thanks.
Thank god I bought them all from iTunes soon after Matt's X Factor debut. All Seven Summers songs are SO SO good :)
ArtyYOU2 Songs are still on iTunes. Worldwide. Amazon even has the physical CD :) Just some yt vids have been deleted.
That beautiful voice still gives me goosebumps :)
Matt's duet with Mel C 'Loving You' has smashed into the UK top 10 and the Spanish version 'Te Amo' is top 40 in Spain and across Latin America.
ArtyYOU2... I'm totally agree with you!

Amazing album from Seven Summers. Much better than "Matt Cardle x-factor" Seven Summers ROCKED. Still listening to the album years later.
glad i'm not the only person that noticed this, he's done incredibly and hasn't strayed far from SS musically.

Loving all the Matt love in the comments! He deserves it, absolutely amazing in every way! <3

Seven summers . Beutiful band.
Just beutiful. I still do not understand why X factor.
This is a decent pop rock song, not amazing imo but a good song with instruments... much better than the manufactured shit you get on xfactor

Wow how could u compare both? :) (i dont think so)
Listen to Boa Sorte by Vannessa De Mata, i swear these two songs are scarily similar!
