I have a Klipsch R-115 SW and an R-112 SW myself. Great subs. But I live in an attic apartment with a slant and depending on where you are, I have a small bass hole. I think it's because of the slant. Not bad .But there is more than enough pressure. Almost too much of a good thing😀

Lucky you've got a fixed mic gain on whatever you use to video tape, so you get that distorted bass sound. Kinda lucky, I'd say. It seems people's perception about good bass response in a video is when you get distorted bass, which is not always the case. I think that if they don't hear the distortion they think the system is incapable. It's clear that you have your mic gain set too high. Because with an automatically adjusted mic gain you wouldn't get that distortion so easily. Just thought I'd point that out. :)

i have that 115 as well and When I connect my Node streamer to the Sub and the node is set to " output level fixed" then I can not use the Sub actually since immediately it starts booming immensely even with just a little bit volume on the Sub.. Is that a faulty volume adjustement knob or ???
