I appreciate Ms Serieux mentioning the late Desmond Brathwaite. I recall Brath, our Rep as hardworking and committed to the constituency. He was known for getting jobs for people. He would just write a letter, give it to the needy person and send them to some workplace. There are people in Ciceron, La Toc, Barre St Joseph, Goodlands who boast of Brath as the one responsible for them having a pension today. He also took care of some homeless elderly and had them placed in the home at Soufriere. He engaged many guys in the areas in many improvement projects. There was always work going on. He gave life to Ciceron, life, not white rum. He was a true Parliamentary Rep. Honorable. That was representation from 1987 to 1997. I am still smarting with pride and joy for having cast my first vote in 1992 for Daddy John Compton through Desmond Brathwaite. Two of my Flambeau heroes.

St Lucia is not making any progress since labour assumed office. So they lied about the agricultural sector. CIP passports need investing . health sector is in a mess. I can't believe the government refused a 40 bed hospital which was donated by the American government. Roads are neglected and deplorable. Lucians never had to beg to get roads fixed.
