Can you do a close up video on the string? I have no clue how to just pull the plastic piece and have it tighten the line like that

You could also take a byte and tie the figure eight with the doubled up line. It will give the same result, but will be a little faster to tie.

this method is useful for tying the knot around an object that has no open end. the figure 8 on a bight is usefull if you can place the knot around an open end such as a carabiner. Rock climbers will use the follow through to tie around the loops of their waist harness. Side note: the creator of this video did not place the tail through the smaller window on the follow through portion and wound up with a twist in this knot. this needs to be dressed

I just got one of these yesterday and weighed it just now with my little luggage scale. It came in at about 1.72 pounds. Maybe the 2.2 pounds decathlon lists on the website is the shipping weight?

I like to bring my OneWind hammock tarp with doors to use over my hammock for privacy. I solved the issue of running into a place with no good trees to set up on by packing a lightweight inflatable sleeping pad and my sleeping bag doubles as a zero degree hammock cocoon. So if I really need to ground camp I can set up my tarp with trekking poles and sleep in my bag on the inflatable pad

  • @brick8253

Shit an they even make little hammocks for your backpack and other gear and still strong enough you can use it as I little seat.... Shit my bug net held my phone knife and a few other things off the ground just fine! Privacy part just depends on what tarp you have... My tarp I can completely close it up and bring it all the way to the ground can't really stand straight up but way more than my tent.

Why does it look like the backrest on the seat is so low? It should come up about half way up the back? I had to watch several times because i actually thought that you didn't have the seat on it 🤔
