What matters is the context of suffering. Ignorant people cause their own suffering and then shift it to a gospel suffering because of righteousness which is unjust context for suffering yet biblical.

God was being both literal and figurative in that passage. He was talking about his voice and words. "Open your mouth and I WILL fill it." Not that GOD would use Jeremiah as a billy club or an actual axe. That would be a scene to behold😂 Have a nice day 😈
