Snow gave me more fps last winter. This current wipe, performance is bad in general, has nothing to do with snow map. BSG optimization with new updated maps is always bad. Reserve map (old map) still seem to run fine at the moment. New customs performance is really bad right now

That's Tarkov... It's been like this for the past 8 years. Unoptimized game

afmf2 adds input lag though

@BipolarRaptor not with the new update, 3-4 Ms that's perfect to play, in normal conditions I get 6ms without afmf, you don't know what you are talking about

Since I got the 5700X3D, I was able to run Streets without issues. But this last wipe, performance is all over the place. The 3D V-Cache cpu will definitely give you better performance with Tarkov. Now we have to wait BSG to optimize their game properly

That laptop should run tarkov without any issues. What are your ingame settings?

@@GSonyProductions A lot of people are having issues this wipe. Performance is really bad at the moment. Even with high end pc, there's a lot of issues. Specially in Streets of Tarkov, fps are very inconsistent

Same problems with fps. i have laptop with ryzen 7 7735hs, rtx4060 and i have 40-52fps on any settings, gpu usage is 10-30% and cpu 20-30%. I guess problem is with gpu usage, cuz if u use 4k monitor fps rise to 100-140 and gpu usage to 90%. If u use ultra hd it's 10-30%

@@dedivan2621 Laptop must be running pretty hot. I am not familiar with the 7735hs, I don't know how it handles Tarkov. The rtx 4060 is plenty enough to play the game though

buy the 5070 and 3440x1440 is ur problem for the low fps. 4060 ti is a full hd gpu.

4060ti 8GB. The card handles 1440p without issues, but only at medium settings,, at high, vram is maxed out. Without resizable bar, it would be a stuttery mess

@BipolarRaptor Exactly rtx4060ti is up to 1440p without any problem. I have a 3060ti and I play Tarkov at 1440p and it runs without any problems, normally I get 70-90fps, but now the optimization is much worse than before, I hope that BSG will release this update with optimizations because it is 30 fps and the drops are even greater than before.

Depend on which resolution your are playing. If you are playing at 1080p, I wouldn't enable DLSS. Playing on high will max out your ram and vram, at least on the current state of this map's performance

Tarkov really loves that big L cache on the X3D models. Be aware that the "Streets of Tarkov lower texture resolution mode" is checked in the video, so high->medium, not actually on high textures. Also: high textures only if you have over 12GB of vram is the current meta. And the streets of tarkov option checked, always ofcourse.

@@icksTeevee yes, I would avoid high settings on a 8GB vram gpu. My gpu has no issue running the game. The real issue here is the game's optimization. BSG regress performances every wipes

For Escape From Tarkov, it's decent, specially on this map

Every wipe, performance deeps a little bit more. Still waiting on those optimization from BSG since 2017

ads scope will still make fps to drop. But it is not too bad. Upgrading your gpu won't make a massive difference. Your cpu and gpu are enough for Tarkov (at least on 1080p)

Never touch xx50’s or xx60’s. Better off with an older higher toer card like the 2070s.

It depends. This is a low profile gpu, and I would recommend it only for a small sff itx case or optiplex pc with a 200-300w psu. This gpu is only for those use cases or if you want something extremely power efficient. I bought this gpu for my 5.5 liter sff pc, and it only fit a low profile gpu.

You'll get less fps with the 1650 4GB. But it will depend more on the cpu you have.

You can definitely play the game on low to medium settings. The only map that config may struggle a bit is "Streets".

@BipolarRaptor fortnite, warzone, apex, Csgo, and marvel rivals. If you can cyberpyunk 2077 and howarts legacy are the only triple AAA games I have

@@fabiox89g23 I don't have Hogwart Legacy, nor Cyberpunk 2077 unfortunately, but I can tell you for sure that this cpu will run fortnite, apex, csgo and marvel Rivals without any problems. You can even enable dlss with your rtx 3050 for better fps.

Not really, that cpu gets you around 60 to 90 fps on streets, 32gb ram is necessary also

Man, my friend has this same processor with a rx 580 and he gets over 60 fps on streets. I couldn't believe it myself when I saw it.

I get the same FPS as my friend with a rx 6750xt but my processor is a Ryzen 5600g. This game is weird.

You have an X3D chip, your gpu won't matter much, the game will be playable (at least for Tarkov). I have tried this combo with different games and it works great for 1080p

It will work fine, but you might want to keep textures to Medium

That chip is very good for Tarkov. We never know with BSG. After every update, it's a s..t show

It depends on which software you are using. I use Radeon Adrenalin in my videos, I loose about 3 to 5 fps at most. Some software will take more though.

Yes, the difference is minimal (within margin of error). The most important factor will be your cpu

The idea is to compare both gpus in online raids. Can't do a side to side comparison in online raids. Only way is in offline raid

I don't use scope much. You might loose some fps in Streets, even with an X3D chip. It will definitely do better than a lesser L3 cache ship though

"X3D" has more L3 cache memory than just "X", which is very important in Tarkov

Definitely! You can even use DLSS for a boost in performance
