    You feign to the right lean to the left then move to the right and left. Back to the middle, move left right arm up pull down and to the left spin to the right drop hand and spin left down up down spin like a top to the right drop down Andy to the right jump up pull back both arms whip up left knee and throw right elbow.

    These videos are right before UFC 28. For you UFC nerds- I just discovered an interesting fact. UFC 28- Mark Hughes fought in the last two round fight in UFC history. At UFC 29 all fights(including prelims) are three rounds.

    - At 12:38, there's a technique i learned where you take the person down from a standing armbar. I go to the ground with them and while they're on the ground, bending their arm back to were the back of the hand is facing towards them, i would press my foot on that part of the arm and make the person tap. For years i would teach this move and tell students the it was the ULNAR NERVE that was being pressured. This is a legitimate nerve strike.

  • @patricktaylor8094
    @patricktaylor8094 3 дні тому

    This wouldn't work in a real altercation the way its applied here. As a Master in Hapkido who pressure tests techniques I can tell you no one would grad and stay loose. The attacker is going to be tense thus stiff and pulling your arms backwards causing the victim to bend forward. Thus a knee kick would then loosen up the opponent then twist out to lock, break wrist and continue striking.

    Lol, lol . No wonder why martial artist gets their asses handed to them . Sir, you probably won't hurt him and most likely won't be able to apply that lock . When are we taught to put two of ours limbs on one limb thinking what can possibly go wrong ? 🤔

    I never learned aikido, but truthfully i have always been interested because i did a bit of japanese jiu jitsu for a few years. It was good to see these techniques be broken down the way they were presented here.

    The hard part is finding opponents to just stand there for a minute after grabbing the wrist. Two hands on one = elbow to face.

      @@JoriMikke78 There are many forms of JiuJitsu, and 2000+ martial arts systems, the JiuJitsu I pratice here in Sweden had very similar moves, but it doesnt matter I guess what system U put the techniques under if they don´t work. Just watch a real grappling match in Judo, Wrestling, BJJ whatever and u see that this slow techniques never work, along witrh any other fighting style as boxing, kempo, thai, whatever ...... but Yes, we did this along with many similar techniques in traditional Self Defence JiuJuitsu in sweden, like ... hmmm . 28 years ago.

      @@magnuslarsson3607 I am not saying that the technique works (I'm pretty sure it doesn't) but it funny that you called this jiu-jitsu. I don't know what sport/art this is but I am sure it isn't jiu-jitsu. If I would have to guess, I would say that it is most likely hapkido (just based on the gi he is wearing) or Japanese Ju-Jutsu. The technique might be present also in Aikido but if he would be aikidoka then I would think that he had the pants/skirt of aikido.

      @@dojotelevision Not at all. When the Gracies first introduced Jiu-Jitsu to the USA knowing it was almost like having a super power. But what we have seen over the years is a major shift towards "sport" BJJ. What this has done is caused around 90% of Jiu-Jitsu schools out there to focus primarily on wining grappling competitions that have a very unrealistic rule set. No slams, no strikes, only certain grips can be used, butt scooting, guard pulling ect just to name a few are all training scares that come from this. If things keep going at this rate in another 10 years BJJ will be like today's TKD or karate. Completely useless for actual fighting/self-defense.

    • @dojotelevision
      @dojotelevision 7 днів тому

      Interesting perspective. I never really thought of it that way. My son trained in jiu jitsu. He said similar things to what you said. It's about winning competitions. In its own right American Wrestling has some real life practical uses but limited by rules in competition. Nonetheless, a valid point.
