People get their drivers licenses from vending machines anymore these days. I swear we need to have a mandatory system that every like 5-10 years you have to “renew” your driving privileges by taking a simple driving test, every 3-5 years for the elderly and anyone under 30. Just my personal opinion though, I feel like it would just ensure that everyone knows the simple basic rules regulations and in some aspect, manners…🤷🏼‍♀️😅

I almost had a head on collision on a road that you go over a hill and the road curves and on the curve is a light and right at the light the road straightens out and I didn’t realize they were in my lane until I was slamming on my breaks skidding towards this old lady in this little ugly yellow truck. I cried the whole rest of the way to work.

Coming home from work today in a snowstorm and a guy ignored he had a red and made the right turn.. bus distance between us and I was going 70kmh on a 70kmh road, green light for me.. It was a major intersection too. If I didn’t know how to drive, his rear end would be gone People seriously need to learn how to drive

People will be upset with me when I suggest this, but this is a perfect example of why, as much as i HATE govt meddling in every part of my life, states should require by law everyone to take a written and an actual driving test every one to three years to make sure that people actually know how to drive. The laws change all the time. And everybody learns how to drive one time when they’re young and once they get their license as long as it never gets suspended, they never ever have to do anything ever again and they form really bad habits and end up driving very stupidly and dangerously and illegally, and they think that they are in the right.
