Nothing beats hitting some trails after work. The best thing about our sport is the friends we make. Raf is an amazing guy to go riding with so I'm glad I got to capture that in a video. It's a different style of video, I tried a cinematic approach. I just love the Scott Ransom it's such a beast of a bike.

With the COVID-19 restrictions my whole training schedule fell thru so now I don't feel ready to go on this trip. But let's see what we can do about that.

Nice vidoe mate .I wear leatt .Top half is the body i wear a half helmet DBX 4.0 .Then there's the back protector. I were there impact shorts a son knee pads .Ive been over the bars a couple of times and have to say, there great. Well I've walked away lol.
Great dude, you gotta protect yourself, so ride like a baddass and try not to crash but if you do those pads will save you.

The tracks in Les deux alpes are incredibly fast. It is not this much technical but the speed makes it dangerous af. And the 666 down to venosc, you could die there. Have a look to my videos from les deux alpes. ua-cam.com/video/6X2NUhuPClQ/v-deo.html
Everyday there where heli evacuations on the 666. It Starts easy and then it gets crazy... Fast!

Cool! Real maniacs just drill another hole in the rim and use slick road tyre with high pressure tube in it, then add some sealant and put your normal mtb tyre on top with lower pressure :) Glad you getting closer to the Alps! Cheers

Hey, Im planning to go to the l2a this summer if they open borders as well. I would advise you to ride more bike parks with berms which will simulate more Alps than the trail shown in this video. Dont know you location, the Winterberg looks good place, I wish we had something like this here in UK. Also recommend fullface helmet and full body protector with shoulder back and front protection like leatt, and protection shorts with hip protection which saved me many times when falling on the side.
Thanks Ed. The first video that will come out next in the series is the unboxing of what I bought. A future video will be all the gear that I'm taking with me. But I feel like we're on the same page. Winterberg is amazing and training there realy was the plan. To bad we're acting out a movie script for the moment. I hope we all get to go have fun this summer. Stay safe out there.
