DEBBIE DOES STUFF IN AND OUT OF THE MOTORHOME
Whilst we are in and out of the motorhome due to some inclement weather Debbie decided to make a dessert. It was very tasty and one that we will certainly have again. Albeit, looking pukka next time.

Are you conquering your fear of heights Tony 😊
😂😂 I'm trying very hard to conquer my fears and not let it spoil my chances of doing stuff. I couldn't look down though. 😂😂
Looks really good 🤩 x
Thank you. We love it and it's better to sit on than the leather. You can try it yourself when we're back, and enjoy a nice cuppa. 👍
It doesn’t matter what it looks like, it’s the taste that matters. I think I will stick with a Biscoff Cheesecake myself, so much easier 🤣
😂😂 I don't think that's a bad shout to be honest. Thanks for watching.
I’ve never seen so much chaos in one video 😂
😂😂 We had fun doing the dessert.
Skipped back to look at your van. 👍🏻. Lovely space inside. You did the bed test but can you sit up easily? Always been put off by beds that are over garage space or come down from roof because of lack of head height.
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes this was the first time we'd seen the moho in anger. The beds have a tilting head/back rest that you can lock into position to lean against. So you can sit up in the beds. Also, I can sit on the bed and my head doesn't touch the ceiling so all in all a lovely bit of space. But our Motorhome is over 3 metres high which enables a little more headroom I guess. 👍
Amazed you wash and no rinse! We have a tiny autosleeper so only room for a collapsible bucket. 😂. Are there any facilities on this campsite .. loos/showers etc. sinks for laundry? Not stayed anywhere longer than a week so interested in your lifestyle long term. Will be back for more. 👍🏻.
We've tried rinsing and not rinsing and there doesn't seem to be much difference and, of course, water is precious. This particular motorhome park is in Tavira Portugal and they have washing machine facilities. It costs approx 5 euros per load (when you can get access to them as they are very popular with the other 199 vans on the site) and that cost soon mounts up. Add to this a euro for the use of the showers and a euro for use of the toilet each time and you can see that we prefer to use all our own facilities to make life much more comfortable and easier. Most campsites in Europe have these facilities but Tavira motorhome park is classed as an aire not a campsite and a great one at that. It is a very popular place.
@@laikalikers9570 We’ve used Aires and camper parking in France but only for an odd night between campsites. The best one was Carcassonne with EHU and services but no loos/showers. Looks like you are allowed to get out your table and chairs too. 👍🏻. Portugal is on our route next year so we will be making a note of Tavira. 👍🏻.

It looks like you posted twice. I have answered this on the other post. Thanks for watching. 👍
I like the iTank but I'm a bit confused. Doohan says the max gross weight is 187kgs. The basic weight of the iTank is 94kgs. So, in motorhome terms, you've only got 93kgs payload. Even assuming the basic weight includes the batteries at 12kgs, there's not enough spare weight capacity for 2 adults. Overweight and you've no insurance. Is the Doohan spec sheet wrong?
Hi Paul, I have taken a look at the iTank specification on the iamelectric website and it states allowed package of 187kg. But it's an interesting point you raise that i am going to get clarification on. Thanks for watching,
Hi Paul, having thought about your point i'm thinking this definitely needs clarification as if you take the payload of 93KG (as you have suggested) then i can't even ride it on my own!!! I must weigh 16st and a 93kg payload equals 14st 9lbs. It must be that the max weight it can carry is 187kg. The little 2 wheel electric scooters you see shooting around the pavement (without anyone wearing a helmet) can carry heavier people. I've seen it with my own eyes.. So it MUST be 187kg total carrying weight otherwise it'll be meant for children weighing 7st max each and at 125cc equivalent i can't see it. Add to that the panniers and Top box i wouldn't even be able to carry anything in them. Interesting though.
Hi, maybe it's just an error in translation. My worry was generated by their statement on the iTank spec page of 'maximum gross weight...187kg'. Hope your enjoying the unbroken sunshine in Tavira (not). We leave here tomorrow.
Very informative video, can you charge the trike whilst you are driving your motorhome or do you have to wait until you get to your destination and charge there?
Thanks for watching. It's possible to charge whilst driving but I have the trike on a trailer which I'm doing a future video on. If it were in a garage it's possible to charge it via the inverter whilst driving. Cheers. 👍
Great video and very helpful. Thanks for doing this. Await with anticipation the various links, etc, you mention so we can start planning for ours.
Glad you liked it. The various links are in the description of the video. Happy planning. 👍
@laikalikers9570 Learned something today. Hadn't realised how to expand 'description' - was looking for links in 'comments'. All now received thanks. Looking at Polish site, they currently only have blue and there's no indication of any top box or panniers for sale.Did you order yours at same time? But they are offering a 'sale' discount. Unlikely that our Morelo will be with us until next Summer so hopefully they will have full colour range in stock by then. Is the trike delivered fully assembled (in crate?) or do you have to assemble?
@@oldblackburnianGlad you found the links. You could always pop over to Poland and grab one? But unable to advise the legalities. Also, they will be able to get you the particular colour you desire. The panniers and top box I requested and they had them in stock. The trike comes fully assembled in a crate. You only have to assemble the panniers and top box onto the frame and the wing mirrors. You also have to put the batteries in. That's all we had to do. Thanks for watching.
Caves look cool! Poor Debs! Xx
Yeah, the Caves were really cool. Amazing that is goes so far into the mountain. They also carry out music performances in there and you can also have a guided tour on a kayak. One person per kayak. So, all in all a nice place and very dark. Debs won't be going back. 😂 X
Hello, do they check the visa in your passport when you checking in ?
Hi, we didn't need a visa so can't help you with that. They did require checking our passports.
and now the rear brakes , please 😁
😂 It's probably the same. Unfortunately I no longer have this bike as I have replaced it with a Doohan iTank. Thanks for watching.
Happy belated birthday Benj. Love the bike! Enjoying your travels once again 👍
Cheers Tony. Yeah, loving the bike much more powerful and comfortable than the citycoco we had. But we loved the citycoco was such good fun. I can highly recommend France for your next road trip. 👍
It's looking good so far I must admit.
Good to see you all back on the road enjoying your travels.
Hi Steve. Yes indeed we are travelling onto Portugal soon but the Bowlses will be hanging around Spain for a bit then heading back to the UK. Thanks for watching.
Nice job, you are moulding the van to your requirements. Like a made to measure suit as opposed to off the peg, 👍
Hi Phil thanks for the kind comment and thanks for watching. We decided to upgrade our motorhome as opposed to part exing for a new motorhome. We have done quite a few upgrades and will be documenting them in future videos. 👍
Looks really nice!
Yo Mr Sharpe. We think so but it's subjective. How's caravaning?
@laikalikers9570 great thanks. Completed the 3 week tour of Scotland which we both loved. Now thinking about where to go next year.
@@tonysharpe5806 Don't leave it too long ot will it be next summer?
New subs here. What a superb channel 👏 we’ve just taken early retirement and decided to go full time in our MH . We are having a blast. Did Türkiye 3 months earlier this year. I fancy Cyprus and is out the Schengen too. Great vlog
Hi and welcome to the channel. Thanks for watching. We loved Turkey, in fact the whole trip was just amazing. I just hope we captured the travels well enough to encourage others to do it. You should definitely do Cyprus it is so worth it. If you dont mind a little bit of Pfaff you should definitely do it. We have tried to show how it's done in our videos but should you need to know anything to help you decide don't hesitate to contact us and we'll try and help as much as.posible. Thanks for the comments and glad you like the content. Happy retirement. 👍
You mentioned about joining your WhatsApp group when I replied to one of your videos. We are very interested in joining your group, could you please tell me how we go about this? Regards, Mark and Jill.
Hi Mark and Jill. In my previous reply I added our email address laikaliker5009@gmail.com which I hope you can see. If you send us a quick message we'll reply with details of how you can join our group Look forward to hearing from you soon. All the best.
Would love to join, you sound like a great bunch and we both like the no pressure kind of group. Mark and Jill.
Hi Mark and Jill. That is great news and look forward to you joining our group. If you could send us an email at laikaliker5009@gmail.com we'll send information on how we can get you joined to the group. Tony & Debs.
Great video, love the laid back approach you both have. Do you run a motorhome club? If so is it just dedicated to Laika owners or can anyone join? Best wishes, Mark and Jill.
Hi Mark and Jill. Thank you for your kind words and thanks for watching. We are members of quite a few clubs. We (well Debs does) currently run a members group that is based on WhatsApp. We arrange meet ups in various places across the UK and Europe that anybody (that's a member of the group) can attend. It is a really relaxed friendly vibe with a no pressure approach. We are the youngest people in the group (being 62 years young) and the oldest is 88 I believe. If you would like to join us on what's app with a view to meeting up that would be wonderful. Please take a look at the rest of our videos to see if this is something that you might wish to do. Our club is not Laika specific so we welcome any motohomers to our group. Hope this is of interest and hope we can welcome you to our group.
@laikalikers9570 Thank you for the reply. Yes we would love to join if you can let us know how we go about it? We also like the no pressure aspect of a club, all sounds very good. Regards, Mark and Jill.
None other than our own ports (Greece). No signs, no markings, no help for exiting the port. Have fun from the start. Nice video!
Thanks for watching
Is the UV water filtration system an option or added in by the owner? Also, why use all those external batteries, doesn't this come with offgrid batteries to run those items? Also Also, is there an option to have a different TV, same size etc, but with ports to power a chromecast or a PS4? Or is it a special 12v model for motorhomes?
Hi Steve thanks for watching. The uv filtration system is after market fitting by the owner ( and uses power to power the UV light system). There are alternative systems like in line water systems we have in our Laika (no power consumption required). However, the UV system in the Liner for two filters all the water rather than the inline systems which generally filter the tap it is fitted too. The L42 only comes with 1 x 80ah battery as standard (which is no-where near enough) that you can optionally upgrade at time of purchase to 3 x 80ah batteries (which is still not enough if you are a heavy power user like us). The TV is 12 volt and has a separate box (hidden behind a panel that you have to remove) which has ports for PS4 or fire sticks or Chromecasts. But is a Pfaff rather than having ports directly on the TV. The TV make is an Alphatronics. Hope that's helpful.
Have you done another video on your Doohan itank? Very interested. Having difficulty in finding uk dealers. Looks like you might have got yours from Poland? Is it suitable for 2 with pillion passenger and can you drive on UK car licence. A dedicated video on all these aspects would be really helpful. We're about to order a Carthago liner 42 like your friends. Would this fit in the garage without the trailer?
Hi, Thanks for watching. Yes, I will be doing a separate video on the iTank and the trailer. It would definitely go in the garage of the L42. Our friends have an L version of the Carthargo and it will definitely go in there. Not sure on the standard length version. As far as I know, and I did months of research, there is NO agent in the UK. The official EU agent is in the Netherlands. I imported from Poland as it is a 3000 watt model and it was cheaper from them than the official EU agents in the Netherlands. It's big enough for a pillion passenger (just) and, being a trike, you can drive on a car license. In fact you don't even have to wear a helmet, but we always do. This is very helpful www.westyorkshire.police.uk/ask-the-police/question/Q504
@laikalikers9570 really helpful, many thanks. Look forward to watching your video of the set up.
Hi, have you had chance to do any reporting on the trike yet. We are extremely interested, especially about carrying pillion passenger. Just watched your latest video where you ferried people up the hill but you didn't film it? Best Regards and thanks.
@oldblackburnian That is so spooky. We are currently in Portugal and have just come back from a lengthy ride. It was fab. What's spooky is that I just mentioned to Debs that I was going to film a full video regarding the trike and trailer (like now) and put it up in the next couple of days. So spooky. Anyways, it should be up in a couple of days. Is there anything specific you would like to know? As if you come back to me in 30 minutes I'll try and include it. Cheers. 👍
@laikalikers9570 Hey that's great. We are about to order a Morelo Loft Premium and with 7490kgs, it looks like we'll be ok for payload with the itank. And the garage door gives us about 12cm height clearance. But I guess main concern is carrying capacity. I'm 15stone and my wife about 12st 2 which translates to about 172 kgs and the itank spec says 160 max. So do you think that would cause issues? Also, how you went about purchasing it from Poland would be helpful as it looks like only authorised dealer is in Holland. Another question is, if the itank won't work fir us, then we'd be looking at a Yamaha Tricity 300cc, but as that's 250kgs then we'd probably go for a Yo Remorques CCP4 or CCP6. But then how did you manage to get trike and trailer to meet up in France? or would we have to come back to UK with empty trailer and then load up ourselves? Great stuff that you alerted us to this topic. Best Regards.
That’s fabulous!! Thank you … such a great idea to have this ! We just need space😊
Get a bigger van 😉😂
@@laikalikers9570 Just moved and there's a very old washing machine already here, but, to tell you the truth, I like the look of this and there's only me. I thought, I bet you what you like that I can't get hold of it easily, but, Bob's your uncle! It's actually on Amazon. Well, that's a change! Usually, when something is demonstrated on UA-cam, it's either frighteningly expensive or, when I look, it's unavailable! Nice demo. No irritating music playing throughout. Just the job. Cheers!
Hi guys Im new to your life and travels im keen to know how you fund your lifestyle, why you do it etc etc for all of us stuck in the rat race.
Hi Chris. We are all over 60 and taken early retirement. We rent out house out and with a small additional income enables us to enjoy the travels and things we do. We believe life is too short to be working all of our lives (having worked since leaving school) and are now fortunate enough to be able to afford what we do. Being in the motorhome is much cheaper cost of living than in a house with spiraling bills and taxes etc etc. It's just a matter of doing the sums and taking the plunge. Thanks for the comment.
@@laikalikers9570over 60 here too 😅
Hello, I love the flickering lantern on the table. What brand or where did you purchase? Thank you
Hi Missykay. We purchased these from a stall at one of the motorhome shows. I think it was the Newbury show. But I'm sure you can get them on Amazon or Temu. They don't have a model name or anything like that.
How long is your RV? And do you know anything about crossing with dogs?
Hi @PawssportAdvetures. Our motorhome is 7.85 metres long. Our friends motorhome is 8.7 metres long and that was also fine, but you do have to take it very easy to watch out for bottoming out. As for the dogs, we do not have dogs and as far as we can tell, you can take dogs to Northern Cyprus but are unable to take dogs across the border into Southern Cyprus. But that's not certain and you should do the necessary checks to confirm whether it's possible or not. 👍
@@laikalikers9570 have you taken a ferry to or from southern Cyprus from the EU? The rv I’m looking to buy/take would be under 6 meters.
@@PawssportAdventures No we haven't. The only way we know of getting there in a motorhome larger than 6 metres is via Northern Cyprus. But, we are informed that there is a ferry from Greece to Southern Cyprus that runs from May to September only and is limited to max 6 metres in length. You might want to Google is to see if it's suitable for you. 👍
Max speed?
30mph. And I have purchased an higher ah battery so can travel 30 miles on a single charge.
Hi there, we are seriously considering buying one exactly like this next year . As for quality and design cathargo liner for two probably is the best out there by far. But theres something worrying us thats potentially preventing us buying it. Our question to the owner is, are there lists of bespoke sites in Europe to park these expensive liners like for example concierge in Chichester. Thanks G&G.
Hi G&G. Firstly, thanks for watching and hope that it was informative. The owner (we call him Bowlsey) has not had a smooth ride in owning the vehicle to be honest. From new there have been a LOT of issues with the motorhome and I'm sure he wouldn't mind me saying that. However, almost ALL new motorhomes will have issues and he would not swap it for any other vehicle (apart from a Morelo if it had a rear lounge). To answer your question, we have been on a 6 month journey from the UK to Cyprus , taking in France, Italy, Greece and Turkey too. From memory there wasn't anywhere that he couldn't park the motorhome. Yes, there were some tight places but on the whole 90% of the time it wasn't an issue. But, please bear in mind that in Europe the majority of campsites are not 5 star such as concierge. Laikalikers.
Hi G&G. I just wanted to say that another couple of motorhomes that you should definitely consider are Morelo and the Niesmann & Bischoff Flair 880. Both top quality motorhomes. They don't have a rear lounge but they are magnificent motorhomes. Laikalikers.
The background music thingy is so annoying, can't watch anymore of your "adventure...ising"
That's such a shame as the "annoying music" has been removed in the later videos. We understand that it's not for everyone. Thanks for watching.
How does the Iveco engine and chassis perform being rear wheel drive, cheers =",'=
Hi Holly. The engine is powerful enough and works well with the rear drive as it has difflock. However, fuel consumption is around 15 mpg tops. Going down to between 10-12 mpg depending on how you drive it. It is 6.7 tonne after all. Thanks for watching.
Glad to see you back 👍🥂 I assume you have a long term visa?
Hi Leanne. No we have been doing the Schengen shuffle. 90 days in Europe, 90 days out and then 90 days back in. So the washing machine has seen some serious action. 🤣🤣 We have been doing some travelling that's why the vlogs have been few and far between. Thanks for watching.
@@laikalikers9570 ah yes of course 🙈 I forgot you were in turkey etc. great vlogs - hope the rally goes well in may 👍
Thanks Leanne. We try and make the vlogs as informative and enjoyable as possible. There is always a space for you on the Rally should you wish to join us? 👍
Hi do the awning suckers not leave a mark or a indentation on the body work of your motorhome. Thanks
Hi motorhomers-r-us. Thanks for watching. The awning suckers don't leave any marks whatsoever. And no dents at all. However, I can't stress enough that if it's windy I do not use them. If the wind got hold of the awning goodness knows what damage might occur to the awning or bodywork. So better to be safe than sorry. 👍
@@laikalikers9570 thanks for the reply. We also wouldn’t use it at all in the wind as our awning is enormous. But the odd time if we can’t put the legs down it would be handy. On our old motorhome we had like a foot mounted onto the body that you could slot the legs into. We can’t do that with this.
@@motorhomers-r-us Yes, I've seen those body hook things before. I think the awning suckers are a great alternative for sure.
SCANDRo brings only vehicles up to 5,5 m length ( from Greece to Cyprus
We crossed from Turkey to Cyprus because, as far as we know, there is no ferry from Greece to Cyprus that will cater for larger motorhomes as you have pointed out.
SCANDRo brings only vehicles up to 5,5 m length ( from Greece to Cyprus
Yes. I hope they will increase that to accept larger motorhomes.
Can we see the bed in operation please. No one shows it go up & down. We had problems in the past and would like to see it moving, also can the bedding be left in place? Cheers
Hi Sharon. Unfortunately the owners of the Moho are back in the UK currently and we won't be hooking up with them until later this year. It was an oversight not showing the bed in operation and thought, at the time, that it wouldn't be of interest. Tony, the owner, has had it a tad longer now and I'm sure we'll do an update to that video in the coming months. So please keep an eye out for it. Thanks for watching.
Love Pamukkale we went years ago also to Cleopatra's pool, where the water is carbonated. Another fun video thanks you. Out of interest, did you get fully comprehensive insurance to go into Turkey? If so who with? We are keen but wouldn't go without fully comprehensive.
Hi Sue. Thanks for watching. Yes Pamukkale was very nice. What spoilt it for us was the constant barrage of people trying to get a pound or two out of you. Besides that it was really nice. Unfortunately, we do not know of any insurance company that will offer fully comprehensive cover for Turkey. Our insurance company doesn't even cover us in Turkey, so had to purchase it at the border. It's a shame but a chance you have to take I'm afraid.
Ah thanks for your reply. I take it that's only third party only or third party fire and theft ?
@@sueparry4657 it's only third party. We came across a couple of people who claimed they had fully comprehensive insurance with NFU. That might be a route for you. We are full time and NFU doesn't offer full time insurance. Hope that helps.
OK thanks for taking the time to reply 😊 I do think it's an area that insurance companies are missing out on 😀
Do you know how to reset the piston if it’s already advanced and holding the pads together?
Hi Daniel. We don't know without investigating this. Sorry.
just watched from scotland great video guys you all look so brown and tanned Donna says hi great video of pammakkule we thought it was a bit rubbish compared to instagram but hey ho Enjoy the rest of Türkiye it's a stunning country
Hey Craig and Donna. Yes, it's certainly not like you see on Instagram. I think they open the pool "shelves" at a certain time in the year so that people can Instagram. It was interesting to see but, as you say, not like the shots on Instagram. Cappadocia is way better in our opinion. Hope Scotland isn't too wet and cold 😉. We're out of Turkey now and on our way to Portugal for the rest of our 270 day adventure. The Bowlseys will be leaving us shortly to return to the UK. Keep well both and thanks for watching.
Was that white rock basalt bruv
It's calcium rich limestone apparently. But if you ask me, with a touch of bleach in the water to keep the rock white. Very white in some places. And the water was freezing at the bottom and got warmer the higher you went nearer the source. Nice place.
Great journey!
Thanks!
No sure if you get notifications for UA-cam but I was wondering how much solar is on the roof? Also how do you charge the Ecoflows in the garage? Thanks. Great video by the way 👍
Hi Sue. The Carthago (well, particularly this one) did not come with any solar panels. It comes with the wiring already in place to take solar panels but they are an option on a new liner for two. Tony had a 200w solar panel fitted (the cost was circa £700) that charges the leisure batteries. He also installed another 200w to charge the ecoflow boxes. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your reply 👍 Is the solar for the Ecoflow on the roof?
@@sueparry4657 Hi Sue. Tony has two solar panels. A 200w solar panel that charges the leisure batteries, and another 200w solar panel that charges his ecoflow boxes that are in the garage of the motorhome. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the information. But I was wondering are the solar panels for charging the Ecoflow units on the roof? I'm only enquiring because that's what we'd like to do, rather than having a stand alone solar panel to be used only when you're around and stationary. Thanks
@@sueparry4657 Hi Sue. Yes that's correct. There is a 200w panel on the roof that charges the leisure batteries. There is also a 200w solar panel on the roof that charges the ecoflow boxes. The ecoflow boxes are in the garage. Hope that helps.
When are you planning to arrive in Cyprus?
Hi Len. We have already been to Cyprus and are now on our way back heading towards Portugal. Please take a look at our other videos that show a little of Cyprus, both south and north, and how we got there. Cheers.
Wow Auntie Deb, this looks amazing! Loving the videos ❤
Hello my lovely. Yes, it's been fantastic! We've loved Turkey. It's coming to an end now as we cross back into Greece next week. You know you are always welcome wherever we are! xxx
Do you remain in your vehicle/MH during the crossing?
Yes you do. It's only a 6 hour crossing so time to get your head down as soon as you board. 👍
Thank you so much that is very helpful as I am travelling with a disabled family member from CY to UK imminently and it is much easier for us to remain in the MH rather transfer out of the vehicle with the wheelchair... Much to consider. Have been following your travels from UK to Cyprus...have done it in a car and went through Greece to Cyprus, but as you pointed out they don't allow MH on that route it seems....we currently live in Larnaca so it was nice to see your uploads of the Salt Lake/Flamingoes etc
@@user-pf8su1pr4b The only other thing i would mention is that they do pack the lorries and motorhomes in and space between vehicles is quite limited. Just in case you needed to get out of the moho for any reason. We Love CY. We have been there many times as we had our Honeymoon in Latchi so it hold a special place in our hearts. But have never done it in a motorhome. Yes, loved the flamingos too. There are some wonderful places in CY and it's nice to see that our videos have been helpful in some respects. Thanks for watching and happy crossing.
@@laikalikers9570Thank you so much. I understand. We have a wheelchair ramp but to be honest we prefer to just stay in the vehicle for such a short journey. I take it motorhomes, trucks etc are kept separate from other cars on the ship? On the Athens-Limassol ferry you were strictly not allowed to return to your vehicle, but that was much longer (36 hours)...and no trucks/freight/motorhomes. Cyprus is beautiful and has been a nice base for a few years but now time to move on. The problem in my opinion with Cyprus is the excessive heat in the summers and the fact you cannot travel outside of Cyprus without having to get on ferries to Greece/Turkey and can be such a headache in a vehicle. Yes your videos are really helpful thank you as it is difficult to find much info in relation to driving to Cyprus in a vehicle/crossing from North Cyprus into ROC and vice versa in a UK registered vehicle which is what we will be doing. I take it you did not have much hassle at the border on either side? I have read that the ROC border police/immigration don't like it if you cross having brought a vehicle to Cyprus via North Cyprus...i take it that wasn't an issue? Also, can i ask, did you need separate insurance for both Turkey and North Cyprus? I know you can travel on a "Green Card" through the EU, but was just wondering what happens in Turkey and North Cyprus for vehicle insurance purposes. Thanks again for the information , sorry for the questions!
@@user-pf8su1pr4b Hi, the ferry company we used put all vehicles together. Lorries, cars & motorhomes. But maybe that was the time of year as only the top of the ferry was used. The ferry, we were on, had 2 levels. Getting across borders was a bit time consuming but other than that it was ok. The problem for us was the route back into Turkey, and that is to do with insurance. We had heard from a couple of people that the Turkish port authorities would not let you out unless you purchased insurance for the motohome. They were demanding 700 euros to insure the motorhomes and that was just third party. This happened whislt we were in Cyprus. So it would be best that you had the correct insurances in place BEFORE you cross the Turkey if you go that way. You will require separate insurance for both TRNC and Turkey. However, if you can wait until May there is a ferry that goes from Cyprus to Greece. This runs between May and September only. If you google it you will find the company easily enouhg. That way you dont have to fuss about getting Insurances for TRNC or Turkey. Hope thats helpful.
What am amazing adventure. Looks like a bucket list entry. Thanks for sharing!
Get it on your bucket list. Take your caravan. That would be an adventure. 👍
Worried enough about taking the caravan to Scotland, let alone Turkey 😂
@@tonysharpe5806It'll be fine. You've taken it out before haven't you? Scotland will be a breeze. A great adventure.👍
Did you get your bike back ok from the port? X
Hey blanfs. Yes, got the bikes back. But fined for overstay and charged for storage. 😂😂 X
@@laikalikers9570 oh no that’s not great!
Cappadocia looks fab 🤩 one for the to do list! Looking forward to watching the next video xx
Cappadocia is just amazing. Make it a destination must see. X
Wow Northern Cyrus is an interesting place. I’m fascinated with the abandoned town x
Most people just mooch around Southern Cyprus. But Northern Cyprus has a lot to offer. We really enjoyed Northern Cyprus, but getting LPG is non existent. So can't stay in Northern Cyprus for long. The Ghost town was really interesting. 😀xx
