Traction issue is just because of the colorway. Other colorways of the AC12 just squeak so loud right off the box.

There’s no discernible difference as far as pure basketball performance goes. Actually the mids lock down ever so slightly better in the heel. However I always choose my lows only because they are way easier to put on foot. I do mean way easier.
