Thank you!
I can't find the website. Would you mind proving a line. Thank you
I am trying to fire these for my students. I bought the kanthal wire and the rods like you suggested but am still unsure of how to set it up in the kiln once they are glazed. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!!
I guess I should not have presumed the maker of the molds was your boyfriend, sorry if I was wrong lol.
Totally fine! 😂 He’s had a few ask for it but he doesn’t sell his files.
@@moltenmudstudio6927 No worries at all, my son does 3D printing as well and puts a lot of time into creating molds. Totally understandable.
Does your boyfriend also sell the downloads of the patterns for people who already own their own 3D printers? Enjoyable tutorial! Thanks.
Where can I get the spoon press plz?
You can find them at www.imakestuff.art. He is currently running a sale… Use the code “GIMMIE!” for free shipping on orders over $80, or the code “Xmas20” for 20% off your order. 😉
Small screen no good
Try using the tool with your non-dominant hand. Might help with the unevenness. Merry Christmas!
Thanks sooo much for sharing this today on Facebook! I really love the tutorial! 🎄
You are so welcome!
You did great ❤
Fabulous. You are the answer I have been seeking for at least 4 separate projects! Just put my second order in for your molds. I’m making either heart oil diffusers or jingle bells for my sons Dec wedding favors. Really excited. What was the glaze you used for the bells,if you don’t mind sharing. They look so real!!! Thanks again on so many levels….
That looked like one of the Amaco glazes. Possibly Saturation Gold or Vintage Gold, Palladium would also look nice. Just be aware that the metallic glazes require more coats to get a nice finish than the other glazes (5-6 coats is what I typically do).
Another great piece ❤
Some reason I thought you were making a spoon bowl for smoking.
So cool. Have you tried printing a texture on your clay before placing on plastic wrap. Would you get the texture with the crisp Star lines?
I think you would distort your pattern because of the amount of pressure you use to get the crisp line. It’s always worth a try!
I have just received my 1.25 bowl/bead form and am awaiting my spoon form! I didn’t know you had videos until this morning! Thank you so much! Great tutorial. I’m searching for one about a bead now!!
Would you put a wire mesh in the bowl part so nothing clogs the hole?
Stupid question: when I make these, can I sell them?
How cute are these ... love them
Could you use these moulds for polymer clay? 🤔
Wow! Great idea! I haven’t tried, I don’t have any or I would test it out real quick!
How do you join two pieces of polymer clay? I know with pottery you score and slip but I’ve never played with polymer clay.
Where about are you? I could perhaps send you some if in the uk. To join them you kinda do the same you can score and use liquid clay. You could bake them separately then even out the edge by sanding flat with abranet which is a harsh sandpaper with holes in it, use the liquid clay to bake them together. You could even use glue.
Wow supper creative
Thank you so much 😊
@@moltenmudstudio6927 welcome
I never would’ve looked at the eggs and thought about a snail!
Same here😂🤣
Crazy right?? I was just trying to come up with different ideas to use with these presses. It makes a great base for sculpting. I was thinking about how artists draw using circles and ovals. I figured maybe it would work with these!
OMG that's too cute!!! You guys are so bad ... now I "need" the eggs too😬🤩
Just trying to give people ideas! No clue what I’m going to do with them. Lol.
Please don't stop I love your work
If you pour three different color, i m curious about the result of abstract color in the egg 🙂👍👍👍❤
I’m sure you could mix clay bodies if they have the same shrink rate🤔
Great video; love the little tips such as when one side was tucked in, you used your knife to bring it on out.
Will this still work using air dry clay and letting it dry
I’m not sure. I’ve never tried it. How do you adhere the two halves together?
Most of the video shows you looking down at the spoon you’re making instead of showing the spoon.
I believe it was an issue with how I filmed the video. I think if you turn your phone it should show the entire thing?
Once again, a wonderful tutorial. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
So cool I can't wait to get my Press and make some 🙂
Just got mine today. Can’t wait to try
I got my heart shape press today. Have you made a video using the heart mold?
I am making one this evening. Using heart mold to make a super cute strawberry!
Thanks so much......very informative......where and what size kanthal rods that you use? thanks!
I got them from New Mexico Clay, www.nmclay.com. I believe my horizontal rods are 9 gauge and the wire I used to hang for glazing was 14 gauge.
You are hilarious!!! Just cut the pointed end of the heart off and you have a set of big balls, lol!! Thanks for another great video.
Got the ball form but I need a larger one thought I got size shown on video but obviously got a smaller one! Nice video on this heart.
Where did you find the heart press at?
Hi! I got it from www.imakestuff.art. Thanks for watching my video!
@@moltenmudstudio6927 thank you
I will make these for next Christmas. Great video, thanks for the inspiration!
You are so welcome!
You did great! Remember seeing the bowl press a while back and then kinda forgot about it. Definitely will be ordering some products. Thanks so much!
Where can i buy the mold
You can get them from www.Imakestuff.art. 😊
Where can i buy the mold
Hi! You can purchase the mold at www.Imakestuff.art😊
You did well 🎉🎉🎉
Having trouble reaching webpage to order mold
Where did you get the kanthal wire and rods? Size (diameter)on the rods so they do not bend in the firing? Great video! Second time I watched, easy to follow!

Can we have a link to I make stuff please? I can’t find it.
Sure! It’s www.Imakestuff.art. 😊
could you pour wax on the inside?
You could🤷🏼♀️I didn’t have too much of an issue with anything sticking. Out of the 35 or so I made I think only four stuck. And at that I was able to tap the ball on the inside with a needle tool and the ball popped loose.
Great idea, thanks for sharing. Could you please advise where you picked up the mold as I could not hear the website? Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Sorry!! Just seeing your comment. I got the mold from www.Imakestuff.art. 😊
Could you explain the firing process again? Never heard of “cantel” wire…great video!
Kanthal wire. It’s an alloy wire that can withstand the heat of the kiln.
@@mbaugustinamitchell4122 Would you share the gauge on the wire and the rods. I want to order some, but am not sure what size will hold the weight. Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is that just a clay ball that you are adding?
I can say it is, i 've tried some on my own and it works with the little clay ball inside.
Yes, I wrapped it in tissue so it wouldn’t stick to the interior. I did have a couple stick after firing. I think they got a tiny bit of glaze on them. I just gave them a tap with a needle tool and they broke loose.
LOVE THIS!!!
Thank you!
Thank you so much for making this video!!! A Merry Christmas to you also!!🎄⛄️❤️
