On the question of gun violence impacting our children, this is indeed a difficult question for me to answer. Is the question / answer geared toward school shootings or all shootings? Unfortunately, we are in an age where all schools should have metal detection and it should be mandatory for all who enter to be scanned by the device. School security should also be enforced. One school shooting happened because the shooter gained entry thorough an opened door. Other schools and or police have ignored repeated threats and even public warnings of when a shooting would take place. I recently watched a video of a FL sheriff who has said he would be publicly arresting minors who were threatening gun violence. At 1st I considered the child being a minor and was concerned for their rights. Then I weighed the child's rights against the rights of the possible future victims. The safety of the children won over the aggressor's rights. I also firmly believe that anyone capable of such violence has psychological issues and should be getting the proper care. The problem with that is so many psychiatrists think a medication will solve the issue when it only suppresses the urges, and only as long as the medication is taken as directed. Then ofc, there is 'counseling' that can be easily manipulated. More laws won't stop the gun violence against our children, as in every single case of school shootings, multiple laws were broken. I understand wanting an answer to the question. Everyone wants an answer. I don't think there is an easy answer, nor is there a one size fits all answer. I've only touched on school issues. Gang violence against child gang members and random stray bullets during gang violence killing innocent children who are in the area is a whole other subject. In cases of gangs, the guns are usually illegally obtained, so making it harder for people to get guns legally wouldn't help in that instance. What is your opinion? How would you stop the gun violence against our children? Is gun violence the only violence against children you're asking politicians about? I'm extremely concerned with the physical, mental, verbal and trafficking (SA) abuse and violence against our children. These types of violence are usually called 'abuse', but they are indeed violence. More children suffer these types every day, and even in their own homes by those who are to be their protectors. How can we help THEM?
As a gun owner it is difficult but it is a concern. I see maga avoid it but want to control how we raise our children because they say they know best. They want to arm teachers and I do not like that. HUGS!

The POTUS could impose a 90 day cooling off period for the ILA, but has already stated he will not. This is very interesting, especially since every time the railroads have been about to strike, POTUS has always stepped in and refused to allow it. If I may suggest another channel that just did a great video on the current ILA issue, Preparedness Pro has a video entitled, "Cataclysmic" strike set to impact the US.
My sons are current and husband is retired Teamsters. The following is from the Teamster's site... "But in independent electronic and phone polling from July-September, a majority of voting members twice selected Trump for a possible Teamsters endorsement over Harris. The union’s extensive member polling showed no majority support for Vice President Harris and no universal support among the membership for President Trump." End quote. When Trump 'won' the poll, they polled again. The rank and file chose Trump a 2nd time. The union leaders (as witnessed by the 2nd paragraph) said there was not a MAJORITY for Harris, and not UNIVERSAL support for Trump. If the rank and file had chosen to endorse Harris, and she 'won' the poll, even at 49 to 51%, she would have been endorsed. Trump was selected by the rank and file, but was not endorsed because he did not get UNIVERSAL (100%) support. What a double standard and a darn shame that the Teamsters officers have decided to become a dictatorship and not follow their members instructions after TWO polls.

I was commenting more on the union president ignoring his entire union. He didn't endose Trump because he supports Democrats, regardless of who runs. It's 6:00 am here and my dog woke me up because she had to go outside Right Now, It's wonderful that you show people how to shop to stock your pantry. That's how old people, like me, were raised. I haven't bought laundry detergent for 2 years and only buy things if they're way below cost. My kroger used to have the best clearance section and also had super red bag produce. Unfortunately those days are gone. WA & OR are 2 states suing them for price gouging. I also can & pickle food. Every little bit helps. You are doing great showing people how to do well without having to struggle🙂 Virtual Hugs.
You have to live this way or you struggle. Taking time to be more prepared can save money later. Kroger is in some trouble for sure but if you play their game you can win. Originally I found your blog/channel? when it played after "Food Bank Beautiful" played. She also has chickens🙂 After watching what she and others brought home from food banks, I was just amazed discovering anybody that can use the help will get help. All you need is proof of residence, ie a license ,for everyone in your home. You don't have to show anything regarding income. I spend 4 months of my social security on just my car and homeowners insurance. When Ms Beautiful said, "You should go to the food bank", I felt she was talking to me. Because you are also talking to me, I want you to go to the food bank🙂 First watch her channel. Virtual hugs & fingers crossed.
Keeping the bills paid is important as well as other costs of living. When times are tough our only negotiable cost is groceries. We can adapt when to buy products at their lowest costs and design meals for sales. Food pantries can make the difference as people cut back their grocery bills. HUGS!
