Was really disappointed when Celtic sold him. Selfless player who ran his socks off and had a habit of popping up with big goals. A Kenny Miller in his prime would've been well suited to the modern game with the way everyone now looks for their forwards to press relentlessly.

Was in a Pub near Bothwell about 20 years ago on a Sunday, as usual a Scottish Match live on. Brilliiant player. Not the best footballer but he never stopped running. Had a good first touch, decent eye for goal was quick and his fitness was incredible, though he wasn’t really technically gifted. That goal vs Rangers won me £53 off the bookies so he’s all right in my book lol

His career might have been a bit nuts but there is no denying he was one of the best strikers Scotland ever produced. H3 didnt get the time he would have liked during his first spell with Rangers but I think he more than made up for that. I mean he signed fir Celtic. Scored against Rangers and he was still forgiven 😂
