A lovely surprise day out to explore the Tidenham Tunnels and the Wye Valley Greenway. I used to live just up the road from here in Redbrook, so it was lovely to be back in familliar territory exploring new unknowns!

My first ever Ultra... and Marathon. Celebrating my first year of running by completing the Dragon 30. Having only ever run 14 miles maximum, this was a big step up. I'm not in a hurry to sign up for another, but ask me again in a couple of weeks!

So we packed up our little van and headed to France. The only plan we had for this trip was to meet up with some friends in Portugal in a few weeks. Our method for exploring was to simply look on Google Maps for stuff that looked good and head there. We also used the App Organic Maps to navigate when hiking. Highly recommend this App.

Hand Feeding our little runty Squirrel!
If beer is 8 pound a pint all I can say is they have more money than sense even the caravan weekend rates are extortionate but then it is only once a year
8 pound a pint no thanks
You don’t have to drink beer or anything to go into the venues and enjoy the atmosphere! 😃
My name is Sian parry and me and. My sister came to it aver here but we were disappointed that the Wales assembly wouldn't open up the middle street for us to walk on the road for us to take a photo of us on the elves weakened on the road we were not very happy with it as they olls closed the sea front for us to have photo on the way😮😅

@myramblingsandotheranimals7402 I missed last year's, heard it was bad , was there in 22 and it was great , every other one, I remember it raining at least one of the days ! I was the guy with the dog in the trees .
Ahh yes, I did see you wandering the perimeter!
@myramblingsandotheranimals7402 saving kids from themselves ! We've had a few bikes hit both walls over the years . That's my van in the disabled car park , I used to park alongside the tennis court but almost had a bike through the screen a few years ago ! Brilliant, thank you! 😃
These buildings are from the 2nd world War period and were used for the construction of ammunition and bombs. My now deceased mother and her best friend (from Rhonda and Maesteg) used to work in these making the munitions for the war. they developed lung disease from working with the explosives. Never compensated by the MOD. Thus the railway track is present at one of the entrances for moving the munitions out when completed. Any nuclear bunker component came after this.
Thanks so much for the info and so sorry to hear your Mum was made ill from working here. The chap in the video’s Nan worked on the munitions in Treforest and also developed lung problems from it.
wow, impressive pictures of the sea. We were at this 1. spot with the ruins around May. Video follows 😉. Happy belated birthday 🎂. Thanks for taking us with you, we love your country and your coasts, you had a great time😀. Cheers, Jules and Ulli 🤗🌈
Thank you! 💕 The Pembrokeshire coast is pretty special eh? Just a shame that they charge so much for parking. This trip we did manage to find a few freebies though!

What a lovely couple. I caught Leon’s name, but not the lovely lady.. You gave us a really good view of the rugged Scottish countryside……shame about the midges. All the best, and i’m looking forward to your next vlog. Alan. 😊
Thanks so much! A beautiful comment to wake up to! My name is Lizzie. I’m working loads at the moment so it may not be until September before we get another video out now but we might be able to squeeze a hike in sometime before then. So glad you liked it and thanks again! ❤️
